7861 Tasting Notes
this one is a generous sample from teavivre. It was on my wishlist to try so i was super happy to get this one as part of the teas angel sent on. This one tastes familiar. I can’t seem to place it this morning but it reminds me of another tea that i’ve had….while also reminding me of more of a oolong type tea. there’s a sweetness here that’s nice, but there’s also an underlying almost mineral like taste to me. On the whole, while it’s nice…it’ s not a tea for me.
first cup of tea from this morning. Working from home today in an effort to be more productive work wise AND get a chance to work through some of the teas i want to try. I have the travelling tea box here too that i need to get to work on, but may save that for tomorrow :) still adore this and wish there was a way to get more :(
this is back in my cupboard courtesy of terri and that makes me SUPER happy. This is especially potent since my previous experience with this tea was from a bag terri had already opened and shared with me. with this bag, it was sealed and super fresh. Opening it was an explosion of delicious ginger and pumpkin. i love this tea…it’s ginger and REAL pumpkin chunks…and spice. make no mistake, this is a pumpkin SPICE tea…but damn it’s good. thank you so much for this terri!

I had a large cup of this one last night before bed. I’ve got oodles of this one and really need to drink more of it. I think part of the reason i don’t reach for it as often is that i prefer the kaphaa to this one from tea Gschwedner. this is lemony with a little vanilla but not my favourite. I’ll enjoy it while i have it left but i’m not sure that i’d restock it with so many other options i prefer
this is an interesting one from Stacy. I quite like the kick to this one and it blends nicely with the chocolate. Not my absolute favourite of her last batch of teas but i really am enjoying the spicy kick of this one. It’s not spicy like kaphaa but it’s a slow build of heat as you drink more and more of it. neat!
Finally got around to trying this one tonight. I don’t hate it but i don’t LOVE it either. I’m a fan of the blackberry flavouring that Stacy uses and this one blends together nicely but it’s just not something i’d reach for again and again. Still enjoyable but happy enough to only have the half ounce to finish up :)
free sample of this one in my latest mandala order – the rest is off to omgsrsly since it was a semi joint order lol and she can always share with folks out there if she doesn’t like it. this is a GREEN ooolong. it’s not like a milk oolong..but there is a creaminess to it that iam a fan of. that being said, i won’t need to order this since oolongs, they’re not for me most of the time…but i can say that this would probably be nice for an oolong fan!
yep! i like this one. It’s not knock your socks off and i see why some people think it’s a little light but i can get behind this, esp since i didn’t get to restock canteloupe and cream. I like stacy’s coffee/espresso flavouring so that’s a win :) now to get back to organising my cupboard lol ugh. glad i have a bit table!
not that i’m complaining because i do love this tea but it’s like the never ending tea in my cupboard. Somewhow i hadn’t been drinking it when i picked it up so it’s one of the oldest teas in my cupboard and until a couple days ago, one of the largest quantities lol oh well… “old” is relative since for me that’s 6 months haha.
