5769 Tasting Notes
trying to get to my samples today since there’s a package at the post office that could be one of two things – both with a number of teas. :) This one was from courtney and is not a bad cup for this morning. There’s a bit of astringency in the cup, which i don’t mind at all in this particular case. This continues to reaffirm my opinion that ronnefeldt teas are sort of middle ground for me, so totally doable at a reasonable price point, but not something i MUST HAVE. so thanks for the wide range of teas from them to try courtney!
This is a distinctive level matcha. It appears that raspberry just isn’t a doable flavour for me when it comes to redleaf. There’s an underlying artificial presence to the raspberry that i can’t get past. It’s not there for strawberry or some of the other berry flavours but with raspberry, it’s all i focus on. Oh well, lots of other flavours i love from Redleaf!
i had a cup of this tonight to try and relax and enjoy something new. Sadly i was distracted and didn’t pay enough attention to this one from Ysaurella what i do remember is being pleasantly surprised by it as i didn’t bother reading to find out what sort of tea it was. tasty for sure! thankfully i have a bit more of this from my lovely french swapping partner to try it again!
SOMETIMES….though it doesn’t happen often with me…i forget that i have a particular tea in my cupboard. This one sort of got lost (in plain sight) and i hadn’t had it in a while…so the other day i put it in a REALLY obviously place to remember to drink it more often. And today, i was glad for it :) i still really like the taste of this one. happy i picked some up in a sale from teavivre a while back.
also..since i’m guessing there will be little to no tea drinking this evening having just had uh..a VERY large glass of coke and toasted caramel rye…
Final Count: 149 (merci Ysaurella!)
this one keeps me happy. Since i have no hope in heck of being at 150 for the end of this month (unless i get nothing in the mail before i leave…) courtesy of a great swap from mademoiselle Ysaurella.
Instead, i’ve decided to shift focus to drinking some of my older teas to make a dent in those ones so that eventually I’ll have bags and bags of almost sipdowns! riiiight…? :)
Still enjoying this tea..even if it is a tricky ever changing tea for me from one day to the next lol
Man i love this tea… just the right balance of spicy and sweet and delicious! Though i have half a mind to try mixing this up with the lapacho just to see how more orange in this one tastes. but i’m lazy…so likely not haha.
Final Count: 136 – now to see if i can get 6 more in before FLORIDA! (if so, then even with orders being added to my cupboard in march from florida, i’ll be at 150…so totally at my goal!)
Edit…hey look at that 3600 notes… Lol
