miss B sent this one my way, and i suspect she may have been provided this one by angrboda since that’s whom i associate with fru P :) i’ve been putting off trying this one since there is something about the smell that just gets to me. Suspect it;s the anise smell, though that’s not usually something i dislike. brewed up, this isn’t nearly as bad as the smell would have you believe. it mellows out a bunch and becomes something that i could drink or not. It’s neither offensive or delicious…just sort of there. just not sure i could get past the dry smell to keep it around…or why i’d want to since it doesn’t inspire excitement and joy :) thanks for the taste miss b!
THIS! THIS TEA! thank you missB this is a great spicy, delicious, yummy tea. Someone equated this to really intense cinnamon hearts but for me, it’s not nearly as sugary as those are. this is KICK without the sweet to back it up. this is smooth and spicy and just the right balance of kerpow! without being “omg get it out of my mouth ‘cause i’m a wuss and can’t drink really spicy things” :)
whoops! somehow this came out of my cupboard by accident at some point so um +1 tea today ugh. I had a cup of this because i needed something that i knew was refreshing and delicious and would clear my tastebuds of the adagio teas i’d been drinking. This is almost gone since i’ve been sharing it with a number of ppl since this is one of the best, if no the best milk oolong that i’ve enjoyed as a NON lover of oolongs… will restock when i eventually finish this off
thanks cavocorax for this one. it’s not a bad little chai tea. Still never going to be a favourite but the blending on this was at least something interesting. i like the addition of the candycane which smooths things out a little…though let’s be honest, once you’ve tried a few adagio blends, you feel like you’re tried most of them heh
