7133 Tasting Notes
early morning dog walk, meant early morning tea. Packed this one up this morning when we took our “rental dog” out to the valley to play with other dogs and get some time off leash. He had a blast, but as the temperature has FINALLY dropped a little, it was nice to have tea for the car ride :) Really enjoying drinking these ones.
i thought WP used to write all their parameters on the bag – this time around, none of my teas have them written on them, making it challenging for me when i make a tea – means i need to have my computer on. Which i didn’t this morning when i was making this one. Still tastes dcent but not as lovely as i remember it being. will have to see if i can do better next time.
I picked up this sample when i was in chicago because savoury teas have always interested me, but not enough to buy a full 25 or 50g. This one smells like pizza…tastes like…soup? it’s not a bad taste, but i think i’m struggling a little with it because it’s like watered down soup. tastey soup, but watery. hmmm
Farewell delicious sample. This is a puerh that i would gladly pick up again when i’m buying tea. By that time i’m sure it’ll be a bajillion dollars, but that’s ok. A few samples are off to friends who haven’t yet tried it but i’m going to enjoy an all day session with this one to eek out the last of it’s deliciousness.
another quick note. Gotta love bellocq’s customer service. Mistake with my order that went to the us that they fixed immediately and sent directly to me so i didn’t have to make arrangements to try and get it from the us given the mix up. Love this tea and am so happy with my first order from this company.
