6489 Tasting Notes
Totally forgot to log this last night. I had some with dinner and it was fantastic. That perfect contrast to the amazing steak my other half made with a wine sauce and roasted potatoes and beans. We opted for bike ride Monday instead of Sunday given the holiday so yesterday was liquor store and food store lol so that today we can go for a long ride and enjoy 4-6 hours of outdoors….and have lunch while doing it! Anyway this tea? Love it…. More to write later but I’m glad I picked up a little more again.
Another one from tonight… i give up on this blend. I know it has blergamot in it, but to be honest, i can’t even taste it. It’s mostly just sticks to me…there is no vanilla, no orange just woodsy rooibos flavour. I’m passing this on to terri to see if she can get more out of it…just in case. Besides, she too must try all the teas! lol

Another tasty cup of this tonight. It’s not something i drink all the time, but it’s something that i always really enjoy when i DO drink it, if that makes sense. I’m sure it would take me forever to go through a 4oz tin on my own, but i’m happy that keychange was able to send me some to last me for a bit :)
I picked this one up, knowing that I probably wouldn’t like it, but i always try things anyway. As it turns out, i was right… i am not a fan of Guaysa….it just seems to overpower any sort of flavouring that is added to it and turn every cup of tea into something i don’t like. So it’s not that this is a bad tea…it smells delicious, and i do get both lime and blackberry out of the dry aroma…but steeped..it’s just guayusa to me. at least that means i can give cavo a little more of our shared order and send some off to Roswell Strange to try out!
My rating and notes for this one seem to have disappeared. BOOOOO! This tea is really lovely. It’s a beautifully smooth black tea that’s middle of the road in my world in terms of boldness and strength. I have thoroughly enjoyed having these tea bags around because they’re just a quick and delicious option. Plus i adore the handmade aspect to the boxes they come in and the handmade beads that are used to close off the plastic wrapper inside. I fully support what these guys are trying to do as well – especially since their end product is delicious!
