5400 Tasting Notes
I am home today. Sick. Not working. Blah…i’ve been fighting this for a few weeks now and today my body decided to give up. Coincidentally it picked a good day since all my meetings are postponed for the day and the few pieces of work i HAD to get done today, i managed to do on sunday while testing. So for once, the work isn’t piling up..much.
I’m up for a bit to get some food before i go back to sleep and i opted for a few cups of non black teas. I tend to want things other than my usual black bold cups when i’m sick. So i pulled this one out and it was perfect for today. Delicious strawberry ginger…
I also had my cold brew of this from the other day. Since i essentially put my left over leaves in to see how they would turn out, this isn’t really a sipdown. What i can say though, is that as a cold brew this is pretty delicious! The puerh adds a strength to the brew so it’s not quite like drinking juice but the flavours still shine through and make this delicious! Added a tiny bit of sweetner to this and it was even more tasty! I do like this one a lot. Just wish they hadn’t been picked over when we went back to the craft show :(
sipdown! (129) Yeah, that’s right dinosara! we can pretend i’ll catch up to you haha. I saved the last little bit of this so that i could try it as a latte. I likely have had too much caffeine tonight but i’m having fun and testing, as usual, has been extended so my day has pretty much been: sit around, drink tea, package tea up for friends, watch tv, test.
i’ve got some errands tomorrow and i want to bake, so i imagine i’ll be drinking less tomorrow. This is quite nice as a latte, but still nothing to write home about. It’s like it can’t decide if it wants to me chocolatey or almond-y and can’t find the middle ground haha. However milk>water for this one imo :)
