6146 Tasting Notes
thanks for sharing more of this with me Cavo! I’m still undecided as to whether i need this in my cupboard full time. it’s a lovely black tea that isn’t bitter, has a bit of a sweet note to it depending on how long you steep it and overall i really like drinking it. I also really like what the company is trying to do. On the other hand, there are a large number of blacks that i prefer over this one simply because i have had a great many types of black teas haha. I think, this will be a rotation in to my cupboard from time to time though, because i’d really like to continue supporting the work the company is doing. :)
mmm thanks cavocorax! I am a fan of this blend. It’s not an over the top must have in my cupboard sort of tea, but it IS a tasty cup of spices. Somehow everything in this just works together to make a nice cup of delicious. My only complaint, as always is the base that tends to be used in adagio’s blends. It’s just not my favourite, though in this case it doesn’t makes things worse :) Thanks for sharing cavo! (also i love the design for this one..)
My only other tea today… Nice thing was that it had just enough of a flavour punch to give me that second wind after running around a bunch. :) Happiness is, tea and girl time! I’m REALLY hoping work doesn’t need me tonight, as there is a release going on this evening. I’d like to be able to sleep in tomorrow and then spend the day relaxing, drinking tea and watching tv. Just need some downtime to relax on my own :)
Final count: 208 (need to get to 200 tomorrow!) On the upside.. 8 more sipdowns of older teas and i’ll be within 6 months of my oldest teas! So maybe i’ll be able to get some work done on those 8 teas tomorrow too :)
Another delicious tea that i took out with me today. Early morning start today to make it in to the spa with nicole for a girls day out. Mani/Pedis, lunch, movie and then dinner with my other half, her husband and the little one. Followed by a short game before coming home late. I was glad i made the effort in the morning to brew up two travel mugs to bring with me :) I needed it by the afternoon!
my other tea from today which is neither an old tea or a tea close to being completed…it’s just a tea i love and wanted. Not that i didn’t want the others but this was the tea that i was craving. MissB sent a package today, which of course bumped up my numbers. At this point, i’m sure my goal is so far away it’s not funny.
70 teas in 10 days. I’m fairly certain 7 sipdowns a day is not going to happen…but i might get close. maybe. :)
Final count: 209
tired and long day tomorrow..so keeping it quick tonight..i hope. This was early morning delicious tea and it was nice to revisit. Bumped the rating up a little because it as much tastier this time around than i remembered….that being said, i tried this a long time ago, and i know my tastes have changed.
thank you VariaTEA (and Nina’s Paris) for letting me try this one. Sadly, this one falls a little short of expectations because i largely get a sense of creamy rooibos from this one. If i squint and think really hard, i can taste the mint ish…so maybe this one just needs to steep a lot more. or be overleafed :) Either way it’s not a bad tea because i like the roibos that Nina’s uses, so i’m ok with it but i prefer others that they have more.
