7753 Tasting Notes
this one came my way from kittenna I’m a fan! this is a really nice berry tea….somewhere between blueberry and “other berry” as it cooled, because i stopped paying attention to it, it still tasted delicious. I think that just a teeeny bit of sweetner would go a long way with this one, to make the flavours really pop.
another from bear with me this one, if it does in fact have mint in it – doesn’t really taste minty at all. Instead it’s like a nutty coconut blend. There’s a hint of something else there, that i can’t place my finger on. Over all, another nice blend from janet. Thanks again for letting me try so many of these BWM!
tea of the morning hat i had hours ago with breakfast. My other half and i are trying to get the house cleaned up – in sort of a mini winter cleaning or whatever. It’s making for a long productve day with not a lot of computer time haha. Still enjoying this tea quite a bit, though i vastly prefer it at home than in a travel mug.
i’ve decided that i don’t like goji berries. they interfere with things that are good. bah. This roooibos was another from yesterday from bear with me. This one was one that i had high hopes for because of the smell, but brewed it was a weird sort of fruity, creamy rooibos with that distinctly goji berry taste, CURSE YOU GOJI! lol thanks for the decidely different tea BWM! still fun to have.
Final Count of 2014: 85 (goal was 75 so i’m giving myself until the end of the weekend to get there…) 2014 was the year where i tried 818 new teas, bringing my total up to 2216 teas tried (roughly) since i joined steepster.
another tea from bear with me thanks again for the rooibos samples! this is the sort of rooibos that does NOT have that woodsy sort of taste, so yay for that! this doesn’t really taste like your usual pumpkin spice tea. instead its more like a creamy tea. I’m not really getting pumpkin pie from this, but it is a tasty tea heh.
oh bear with me you know how i’ll try anything lol. fancy this…a tea with two of my arch nemeses….the dreaded blergamot AND his nefarious evil twin – jasmine. I of course didn’t know it until the water hit the leaves…. and then they popped up! Admittedly though, it “almost” works in this tea. The blergamot is subdued a little by the jasmine and neither one is overpowering. I just don’t like the flavour combination that it has. thanks for letting me try this though BWM! wasn’t as bad as i would have thought it would be haha
