7674 Tasting Notes
I’m not sure why i always feel compelled to buy this one from time to time. I think it’s because i want the rice. I already do LB + Cacao when i want a treat…but i like the rice. I just dislike the oolong. blech. That being said, this is still a tasty cup..just not nearly my favourite haha this was a fresh bag today so it was especially chocoalatey smelling and just a touch roastier than i remembered heh
I’ve been wanting to try this one for an eternity and cookies was kind enough to send a sample my way for me to try. turns out? it’s kinda like most of the other hojicha’s that i’ve tried. Same woodsy sort of taste that i rather enjoy, but certainly lacking any sort of caramel taste that i expected of this. It’s not BAD – like i said, i like hojicha…but i guess i just wanted more! haha thanks cookies!
Final Count: 80 (still not quite at 6 months old cupboard though…) bring it december!
cookies sent this one my way and while i’m not ever going to reach for a green tea over a black, i do enjoying trying things that aren’t my usual go to teas. This one strikes me as sort of an average sencha. It didn’t knock my socks off but it wasn’t bad. I think there are senchas out there i’d prefer more, but this was nice to try at least. thanks cookies!
YAY for tea from cookies this was a rather unusual tea from this morning.I’ve been busy organising things and um spending too much money on house things today. I enjoyed this one, though it’s different from other barley teas that i’ve had.
it’s roasty and sweet at the same time. closer to coffee than tea. it reminds me a little of some of the green teas that i’ve had when they’re a bit beany? kinda. overall just a really fun tea to try! thanks cookies!
