7475 Tasting Notes
need to bump the rating up on this one….realised that i have about 18oz of damn fine teas in my cupboard that i haven’t really started drinking. Not that i want to burn through them or anything, but it’s silly to let them linger when i know i can get more :) Added a splash of maple to this one today and it was the perfect blend today for me. Maybe tomorrow i’ll pull out the tiger and revisit that friend :)
i wanted something sweet today with my other teas, so i pulled this one out…essentially just because i know i have another 50g bag of this waiting to be opened, so finishing off this one won’t kill me haha. I really enjoy this tea…the sweet vanilla/caramel taste, with a nice base of black and green…yes pls!
oh man… i am going to be so upset if the newer harvest of this that i have isn’t as awesome as this last batch…because i was NOT impressed with the first round of this…had almost decided not to bother getting it again and then…well..i love this harvest that i have. Funnilly enough the zhu rong that i got the last time, i am not a fan of and the first time i got it – it was amaaaaazing lol so harvest CAN make a difference to extremes in some cases….though generally i haven’t found huge difference like this in harvests :)
I had this one again today as my afternoon tea while gaming. Apart from the fact that while brewing it, my entire house smells like caramel, i am a fan of the blending of sweet caramel with the “sour” fruit notes. I’m really glad i gave this one a shot even though it seemed like an odd thing to mix when i first read the description in the store :)
Final Count: Still 100 …
