3041 Tasting Notes
I’m not sure that i’ve had any fujian teas so i’m happy that dinosara sent this one along for me to try. This is a delicious cup of cocoa goodness with a few honey notes in the background..maybe a bit of “wheat” taste! I wish i could say more but i totally gulped this down it was so tasty!
oh man! this one is delicious! blackberry and vanilla and delicious! I like that the puerh is still present in this one but it meshes nicely with the flavouring to complement the blackberry flavour without overpowering the vanilla. I feel like this would also make a really yummy hot brew, cooled as when it started to cool down a bit, the blackberry flavours really popped! Thanks for sharing dinosara!
Another tea from dinosara it’s freezing in the house today so i’m keeping warm by sampling teas i haven’t tried before – likely because of only having a few teas with me last week heh. I managed to add in the few teas i bought while on vacation as well, and i’m still sitting at 175, though i will be getting more teas tomorrow which will bump that number up.
This tea is pretty tasty. I didn’t’ really know what to expect with this one as i had no idea what the taste was supposed to be. :) As it cools this is a very melon-y blend. I actually am quite enjoying this, despite not having a clue about what i was getting in to lol
this was sent to me by the lovely dinosara and i’ve been hesitant about trying it. Mostly because i haven’t really liked most of the flavoured kusmi teas that i’ve tried. this one is actually pretty nice, though the flavouring isn’t super strong. Unlike my previous experiences with Kusmi, the base doesn’t ruin this cup. Thanks for sharing Dinosara!
mmm had a cup of this to kick start my day. Sometimes it’s nice to have a flavoured puerh and a straight one on the go at the same time heh. Still really enjoying this one, so i may need to put i on the list for someday when i get to go back to france/uk sigh
steepster is acting up for me this morning so we’ll see how this goes. Sipdown of this one from terri/nofars. I’ve been drinking this all morning now that i’m back in the land of my tea cupboard. I feel like i have a million things to get through today and not enough hours in the day. This is a really tasty Shu so far. It’s not too bold, not too wimpy. I have only been through a few steepings so more to come later. heh
Sipdown! 175 so only 25 teas left to hit my goal, though that being said my cupboard is going to go up a bit when I get home as my samples from teavivre and my October verdant blend club teas :)
I’ve enjoyed this Darjeeling quite a bit, which is saying a lot for me. I really enjoy trying the teas that Stacy adds to her collection as they are usually very enjoyable even when I don’t typically like that particular type of tea.
Mmmmm saved this for the last day. Since I knew it would be a bit of alazyday. Tomorrow, it’s up early to walk the beach and say goodbye to the dolphins, turtles, herons, kingfishers and other assorted sea creatures before hitting the ocean museum and possibly savannah before the airport. Then it’s a long travel home, with a 3.5 hour layover in atlanta… Which is at least big enough to be entertaining :) this is a tasty cup of comfort thisafternoon.
Also I HATE ios7. Grrrrrr autocorrects.
Sipdown! 176…..made a final cup of this and took it to them beach for the sunrise. Another gorgeous day filled with a bunch of dolphin pods swimming up and down the coast. I don’t wanna go home!
Tried this as a normal tea. Tonight. Um no thanks. I stand firm in my belief that murchies sells teas best served with milk and possibly sugar. I’ve got two more bags to use up tomorrow in my latte and then it’ll be a sipdown woohohoo!
