6338 Tasting Notes
Soooo this is still one of my favourite teas. There’s something that i just love about the dark chocolate, mousse taste that just makes me happy. I’m going to be so sad when this is gone and all i have is the tin to remind of how delicious it was. I just can’t justify the price, unless it happens to be in stock if i ever make it back to France :) Then i can splurge heh. I just like that this is chocolate mousse…real chocolate mousse made with dark chocolate, that isn’t sweet…. not the typical chocolate mousse you find in restaurants that is stupid sweet and not as delicious :)
mmmmm i like this tea a bunch, though i’ve found picking the flowers out makes it a more enjoyable cup. It’s not that it’s a floral tea persay, but something about the blossoms adds just a little of something i dont enjoy AS much. Over all though, this is a lovely tea and i’m glad winners had it when they had their fauchon teas. I did swing by the other day and their shelves were nearly BARE of coffee and tea…so i’m hoping that means more will be coming in soon….i hope lol
Another tea from this morning and it’s a partial sipdown. I finished off my older bag, but since i recently picked up more of this, no change to my cupboard…just a more fresh cupboard lol While Mandala’s are still my favourite, these are my runner up for pearls, and my go to, since Mandala hasn’t been able to source more of the others :) Just a nice malty tasty cup this morning.
I had a cup of this today in an effort to get through my older teas that are nearly sipdowns. My goal is to get through my april/may/june 2013 teas before the end of march so that i can get closer to the 6 month range of the age of teas in my cupboard. I’m doing well at under a year anyway but i’m aiming for 4-6 months if i can :)
This one is such an AVERAGE cup of tea that i can’t wrap my brain around the price. 33$ for 100g…i mean it’s not 20$/.5oz or anything but that’s still a lot for what, in my taste, is less exciting that teas i spend 10$ for 100g on. It’s ok but nothing to write home about…glad i didn’t pay that price and that it’s almost gone heh :)
