7475 Tasting Notes
I finally had this as a hot brew and it was really nice. It’s not something i’d need to keep in my cupboard permanently but i am glad that cavo made us try this one :) it’s been a nice enjoyable tea. I think i prefer hot to cold brewing, and i think this would likely be pretty tasty if i hot brewed and then had it cold with a litle sweetner to really make the grape flavour pop!
i had this one in the wee small hours of this morning…or late last night if you want to look at it that way. Release weekend = Sil’s been up all night, though not as long as if we hadn’t had to roll back :( such a pain in the arse…and if i don’t get to ruin my weekend next weekend for this same shit, then all my other work this year gets replanned…. which would be the suck. glad i had this one with me
I had this one this afternoon while trying to add all my teas in to my cupboard lol It takes a while because i need to date them, add them to my spreadsheet, find them in steepster, add them if they aren’t there…but i’m done. At least until tuesday when i get the teas that my tea mule is bringing up for me lol
When i left on my trip, i was at 95. Now that i’m back, my cupboard is at 133 ( + 7 inbound, so nearly 140 if i don’t’ drink some before the teas get here…)
I’m back….for at least a week before i leave again. This is very nearly my first cup of tea in a week, with the exception of the sample i had while at Adagio – vanilla oolong (which i almost bought surprisingly enough..) I had this early this morning on my walk to pick up a package from dexter and get some breakfast…still not used to having a house with food versus reataurants. Especially not since tonight i’ve got an overnight which will have the worlds worst food provided. blech. So glad to be back with my tea for at least a little while…even if i did over splurge on tea while in chicago lol
I asked for a cup of this yesterday while at adagio…not sure what possessed me besides being a sucker for most things “vanilla.” I think it helped that it’s a dark oolong and not a green one….it just smelled so lovely.
And you know what? I liked it. Me! An adagio non herbal tea that I liked…. So much so that I nearly bought some and even this morning, I’m contemplating it….though I’m for sure running out of room in my suitcase to get things back as a carry on…
final verdict on this one now that it’s a sipdown? Lovely taste but with an astringency to it that makes it good for me , as a morning tea. I’ll need to have a few more of my other teas before deciding on a final breakfast sort of tea but this one is pretty good :)
I’ve had more to drink but this is all i have time to track at…hopping on a plane in a few hours. Final count before leaving: 95 let’s see what the damage is when i get home haha
