4875 Tasting Notes
First tea back! I figured given all of the teas that are incoming in the next little while, I should finish off some of my last few cups of tea. I chose this one because not only did I only have a cups worth left….but it’s delicious! I can hardly wait for this to be back in stock with Stacy. I’m counting down the days until its here. I love that this is not only a black tea but there I a sweet juiciness to this that is unlike other teas that I’ve had. Soooooo good! (Sip down)
Forgive the crappy tasting notes…I’m in the land of not really having wifi while we’re out in BC so I’m trying to capture as much from memory as I can. Tried this earlier today and it wasn’t half bad. I was iced, and was pretty decent in the mango department though not as intensely mango as I wished for it to be. The green tea was rocking out in the background for the most part. Nothing I need to purchase, but wasn’t bad to sample.
Had this today while out for lunch in Victoria. This isn’t a bad little blend and if I didn’t have a mountain of tea at home I would have picked up a bit to bring home. I didn’t have this straight, rather murchies added a bit of fizzy water and simple syrup to the blend. It was a little sweet this way for my tastes but I can imagine this would make a great cold drink for hot summers.
nothing like a good cup of yummy to go with tiger assam! yes, i’m also drinking this… and hoping against all hope that they’ll let me finish this night asap.. 8 mins until i have 15 mins before i have to leave the house… wooooooohoooooooo!
i am totally digging this tea and how it interacts with the waffle cookies and the tiger assam. double dose of assam :) mmmmmmm
HELLLLLOOOOO WORLD! Nothing says no you are not getting any sleep like TIGER ASSAM! RAWR! yes..i’m in a mood. 30 mins until i have to leave my house to head to the airport and i still haven’t been able to pre-check in because air canada sucks at the moment…and i’ve been up since early o’clock and oh yes.. i gave up…i am succumbing to the sheer delight of a bold black tea…and waffle cookies.
At least it’s cooler outside…i’m mostly just sitting..anxious. want to be at the airport and yet not but i have to finish working and oh my god i wish they’d figure out what’s broken!
oh yeah..this tea? go get it if you like bold yummy strong teas that say HEEEEEELLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
SIPDOWN! (229) Happy to have made it under 30 before i leave for a week but it sucks that i really don’t have the effort/energy to put in to bringing tea with me and trying to find somewhere to make it. I don’t mind this one, but it’s not a re-order for me. I’m glad i had the chance to try it but that’s as far as i need to take it heh
thank you shmiracles! this was a tea i wasn’t expecting to like, as it’s a green oolong. So i’ve been putting it off until today. I had the tea earlier today that had osmanthe in it…so i figured today was a good enough day to try this.
Overall impression? Not too shabby. It’s not overly floral, which is a plus for me and it doesn’t have that weird oolong-y taste that i don’t like. But there’s also nothing here to really entice me to come back to it. I’ll drink the rest of my sample but nothing to be wowed over…but it IS another tea off my “ALL THE TEAS” list! :)
