6170 Tasting Notes
Another one from theteafairy I need to try this cold brewed. This had just enough pineapple that i enjoyed it, but it made me crave butiki’s pineapple oolong for that sheer juicy pineapple feeling. I have a sneaking suspicion this one will be even better chilled over ice (or cold brewed) with just a splash of sweetner. still a fun time though! thanks teafairy!
sipdown! (168) I pulled this one out tonight so that i could try another tea Gschwen34u0234uweiroweri tea before i am back in CHicago. Yeah that’s right…stupid letters i never put in the right order. the Tea G! ;) While i don’t love this nearly as much as my friends to the west, it IS a lovely tea. I like the body of the tea base that doesn’t get lost that flavours. I may need to look at picking up a bit more of this to play with it some more. Thanks again MissB!
sipdown! Thanks for sending this my way MissB I think that this would probably be pretty darn delicious as a cold brew. This initial smelle is a little artificial but once it brews up, it’s a really nice raspberry citrus tea. I wouldn’t call it LIME right off the bat, but the combination of the raspberry lime is a pretty decent blending. I’m really happy to be getting a chance to try out this company’s flavoured teas since i’m sure i’ll be ordering from them in the future to try their straight teas!
sipdown! (170) Not bad…down 8 today and tried a few of my samples from the teafairy. Still have more in me though now i have to run some errands so we can get back and make the roast for tonight! I quite like this one, so of course i’m torn now since i might be able to get over to their chicago store next week. To order, or not to order…that IS the question. Thanks for sharing this one with me MissB!
hey guys…guess what?! I found a tea i like from Adagio. Clearly it’s not a black base tea hahahahaha KallieBoo! sent this my way and i am glad that she did. I really like how the blueberry and orange blend together. I think the only thing that would make this even more tasty yummy for me would be the addition of a teeeeny bit of vanilla :) thanks a bunch kallie!
the teafairy sent this one my way with a note that she doesn’t like it much but given the flavours, thought that i might enjoy it. I’m still undecided. I can taste the vanilla, but not so much the hazelnut. I think this one may also be a bit picky in terms of steeping times so i may need to dial the temp and timing back. Not a bad start though.
Another tea from the tea fairy! I was hoping for something just a little spicier with the peppercorns in it, but this isn’t a bad blend. I typically don’t care much for tealux’s flavoured teas (i prefer their unflavoured) but this one is pretty tasty! The almond flavour isn’t super strong but it blends nicely with the orange. Overall a tasty tea to try! thanks teafairy!
thanks for sharing this one with me missb sadly i think that i’ve lost interest in peach teas. There’s something about the peach flavour in teas that doesn’t sit well with me anymore. I DID love the mango piece of this tea though, so this would likely be a tasty tea for anyone who likes peach! No disappointment on my end, as it’s a new tea and quite nice apart from the peach flavour :)
i need to have this one again. I’m not yet sure how i feel about this one as a latte. it wasn’t a bad cup of tea but i wasn’t quite sold on the whole hazelnut flavour. I’m wondering if that’s because this would be better as a robust flavour. I’ll have to give it some more thought over another cup :)
