I’m tired of this tea, but i think ive managed to find a way to get through the last of it. Latte style in the morning with a bit of vanilla black :) The chocolatey puerh combined with the vanilla makes for a really nice creamy latte that is highly enjoyable. First cup of the day and a baby step towards drinking up my oldest tea!
goodness…i’m sloshy. missB sent this my way and it might be the first whispering pines tea that i really like. I blame the ginger, which seems to be my weakness in teas. I love that spiciness that it brings to the table. Always leaves me wanting more! more! I chose this one as my final cup for the evening in the hopes that it would relax me a little and help clear my head before bed. I’ve been fighting off getting sick for a few days now and i’m really trying to NOT get sick. This is making for a great evening cup though. Thanks MissB!
Final Count: 190 (sooo 6 sipdowns a day = reaching my goal for the end of the month…likely not going to happen..but maaaaybe if i work from home a couple days…maybe… heh)
thanks for sharing with me cavocorax i think i might fall into the NO category for this tea. Not because it’s an awful tea, but because i can see it being a very inconsistent cup of tea. This particular cup has almost enough blueberry…but the pineapple is missing…there is too much lemongrass in this cup, and i enjoy lemon grass. So think that overall this tea has potential. but given that i feel like every cup is going to taste different, and i’ll only like 1 out of every 3 cups…it’s a pass for me. So close David’s tea… so close…
I figured might as well knock off the two christmas teas in my cupboard at the same time. This one is from shmiracles and while i’m happy to try it, it’s also a miss for me as well. I would NEVER have guessed white chocolate and apricot as the flavours in this one. It pretty much tasted like coconut that had fruit mixed in with it. Overall, nothing i need to drink again but i am happy to have another tea tasted under my belt lol
thanks VariaTEA for sharing this one with me. Turns out, i prefer christmas teas from MF. There’s something about the spices in this one that has me wanting other christmas teas instead. Maybe it’s the way the vanilla is blending with them, or the sprinkles… lol that being said, I will be picking up more of this next winter to try and see if it’s just due to the fact that we’re coming out of the cold weather and my taste buds are looking for more spring/summer like teas. I have the same issue with chais as well heh they’re my fall/winter beverage!
Another one from Cavocorax it’s pretty much her, terri, variatea, shmiracles and missb for the next little while with all my tasting notes. I have a bunch to get through! I really liked this one. I should probably stop drinking tea now…or at least switch to herbals but i just can’t help myself. Finally nailed down vacation for April so it’s just a matter of working, saving money and getting through the next little while.
This won’t be my favourite tea from RiverTea, but i am a fan of the raspberry flavour in this. It makes me want to try a few more of their raspberry teas, without chocolate in it! Not that i mind the chocolate but i am not a an of white chocolate and i’m not sure it adds much. On the whole though, this is a creamy raspberry tasting cup that i enjoy…though i’m not sure if it would be a purchase for me.
you know. I wanted to really love this tea. I did. But it’s just sort of ok. The pomegranate adds a bit of a fruity feel to this, but the dominant taste is the oriental spice. I was hoping for more of the spice mixing with the cocoa and the caramel but mostly this comes across as a slightly fruit chai sort of spice tea. I don’t hate it..but i wanted more. Thanks for sharing though Cavo! :)
I’ve come to the conclusion that i’ve pretty sure i don’t much like “red fruits” Give me a specific strawberry or raspberry and i’m ok. But the “red fruit” that many of the french companies create, just isn’t for me. There’s something about that flavour that reminds me of something trying to be everything and successfully being nothing. That being said, if you like that sort of thing, this would be a great cup of tea. Thanks for sharing this one with me VariaTEA! I’m glad i had the chance to try it first.
