8067 Tasting Notes
with more travelling coming up shortly, i wanted to have my old favourite. I’m not sure yet if i’ll be able to bring tea with me when we’re running around or if i’ll just forego and make life easier on myself. Decisions, decisions…. I do wish that just once the harvest would taste like the very first time i had this a few years back. it’s still good, but every now and then i long for that first taste of liquid dessert.
soooo i had my sample of this today. First off..it’s a weird looking blend. secondly – it smells gross. BUT once brewed and cooled, i actually like it lol it’s like a weird fruity drink that’s quite tasty EXCEPT that the smell makes me want to..well yeah. soooo i like drinking this…but maybe when i can’t smell…. lol
mmmmm tasty puerh. I’ve been sipping on this one over the course of the morning. Trying to stick with my focus on getting through some of my puerh samples. this is a fantastic puerh. I really need to buy more of this one – it’s similar to another from teavivre that i really enjoy. There’s something about how rich and full bodied this one is, without being overly earthy or leathery. On to my wishlist for sure as a cake order i think… this is a great every day sort of puerh…
apparently when i picked this up, i’d forgotten that i’d had this a long time ago in a tea tasting note far away. Make note. DO NOT PICK THIS UP AGAIN NEXT YEAR SIL! yeah well i did..and i like it less than i did last year. this is like cardboard coconut macaroon. doesn’t help that i think of macaron’s when i think of this tea..which is a totally different beast of treats. anyway. glad that’s over. never again! haha
whoohoo! finally on today’s teas lol this is pretty much my last day in november to drink teas given the travelling that’s coming up, so i’m trying to enjoy it. the snow is falling outside, and i’m sitting (in between working) in our kitchen nook watching it fall, drinking my tea. perfect only marred by the absence of my other half since he’s at work and can’t exactly do that from home. I do still enjoy this tea – it’s bold and strong and delicious. I just wish that steam would do 50g instead of this 100g crap. even if i adore a tea, i’d rather pick up 50g and place another order when i get through that amount – if only to keep my cupboard under control! thanks agin though for introducing me, omgsrsly :)
