6407 Tasting Notes
Another favourite to end the evening…inspired by courtney pulling it out to drink :) thankfully i have lots of this to get my though until my next butiki order. I have a huge number of stacy’s teas in my cupboard so i need to drink a few up before i order again..but this one will be on the list when i do..even if i’m not quite finished.
Final Count: 156 (which is awesome since i bounced up to 161 today with my verdant package arriving in the mail)
Another swedish chef tea! though i almost wrote swedish fish… speaking of fish, what do you call a fish with no eyes?
better yet, what did one snowman say to the other?
“I think i smell carrots”
this tea? sort of vanilla like…but not so much. I think i might blend this with the machiato tea that swedish chef sent me as well and see how that helps. bad tea? no. good tea? no…middle of the road dirty dime a dozen… wheeeeeeeee!
Another one from the swedish chef! I need to get through some of these sipdowns so that i can try and get back to working on my older teas :) This isn’t a bad nutty tea. What i like is that this is NOT almond…not that i have issues with almonds but i find a lot of nutty teas seem to take on a generic almondy sort of taste. There is a nutty bitterness to this tea, which i rather like. It’s not a sweet tea and that suits me just fine. Adding a little milk to this made it even more truffle like which is nice, since i honestly don’t really get any chocolate feelings from this one. still enjoyable though!
Thank you Cavocorax for sending this my way. Another fine sample from RiverTea that she was kind enough to share with me. This isn’t one that i would have picked up myself if only because ive been a little tired of mint lately. However, this is a pretty interesting tea if you’re into that whole mint thing. What i like is that the addition of the orange makes it not the same as other mint teas. is this a tea for me? no…but for mint fans, i would recommend this since it’s got a smooth finish to it and it’s not overbearing. the orange helping to offset the mint a bit without making it a strange cup of tea. thanks cavo!
wheeee! Cavocorax sent me a sample of this one in part because she’s awesome but also because she’s evil and is trying to prevent me from reaching my goal this month! heh
I actually like this one a bunch. It reminds me a little of green caramel from the persimmontree tea, but different. Smoother and more milky? nougatty? What is nice about this one too is that it feels…like a mouthful. This isn’t a wimpy watery feeling tea. Thanks for letting me try this out cavo!
this one is pretty good. will i reorder it? probably not. It’s a little too “something” with the chocolate taste which ruins my enjoyment of the caramel. But it’s not a bad tea, and i do like it…just not enough to rank as a perma place in my cupboard. But it’s one i’d happily swap for to try again or have a little cup of :)
