4942 Tasting Notes
mini sipdown! (back to 250) I finished off the last of my first bag of this so that’s progress. I still have an entire unopened bag of this from a swap with JackieT because she didn’t want it. Me on the other hand? I love this for whatever reason. It’s strawberry cream and delicious!
….and if anyone has any they want to get rid of, just hollar! :)
sipdown on this one today as well! I’m very nearly out of the teas i brought back from china – well the ones that weren’t packaged in tins or individual servings. While it makes me sad, i’m also really glad that i’ve been able to get through them and enjoy them while i’ve had them…as well as share with others!
SIPDOWN! Man i really need to make sure i’m doing my one a day, so here’s to hopefully 1 of 2 or 3 tonight to make up for earlier this week :) not to mention the tea that arrived from cavo that bumped my numbers up.
I have enjoyed this one a bunch because it not only has a fun fruity flavour, but you can still taste the tea base underneath it all. I very much hate it when you might as well be drinking juice for all that the flavours hide the tea…especially with pu-erh. Thank you again kallieboo! for this one!
Another one from Cavocorax tonight since it’s time for a bit of “downtime” before bed. Watching the last half of an episode of black mirror. It’s a bbc series that has random shows that look at technology and how it’s changed our world or could change our world. It’s fiction and so far i’ve found each of the episodes relatively interesting in their own ways.
Funnily enough, shortly after this tea came out, i actually SAW a real pineberry in the grocery store and almost bought it just for kicks haha. I’m not sure how i feel about this one. It’s not BAD..but it doesn’t really taste like anything that i can accurately describe. It’s just kinda sweet, hanging out.
Note: It does take on more “taste” as it cools a bit so there is that :)
Cavocorax sent me this to try since as much as i can admit there are David’s teas out there that are delicious, on average i generally don’t like them as much as other teas. I find them a good entry point to loose leaf tea but that’s about it. However, that doesn’t stop me from enjoying trying them and i love that they will let you walk in to the store and pick up whatever size you want! I wish all companies would do this. seriously.
So this tea? It’s not too shabby. I tried it hot brewed first and i’m sure i’ll do a cold brew just to try it out. it smells like coconut, but doesn’t taste TOOOOO much like coconut – the citrus/pineapple adds something to it. I have a feeling that this would make a good vodka infusion so maybe i’ll try that. Especially if you added some raspberry juice to it? maybe. hmmmmm
thanks cavo! even if it does mean my cupboard goes up since i haven’t been staying on top of my sipdowns this week lesigh
This was a mini sipdown this morning because i managed to finally get through the matcha in this flavour that my friend gave to me. I still have my own in the cupboard but at least that one is still sealed :) I really like having this one in smoothie form with a small dash of coffee matcha to make it a little more robust in terms of coffee flavour. it’s delicious! :)
