sipdown! this is a pretty tasty yellow tea. It’s not overly strong. I wish there was a bit more sweetness to it, but it’s not too bad. There’s a bit of fruitiness to this that is nice, though as the sup cools, that blends into the background of things.

YAY! 200! now to get a few more in to account for the verdant blends i’ll be getting in a couple weeks.

200! :O Now… to keep it there? For the next month?

i’m under 200 as of yesterday so today i’m probably going to drink some of my older teas or teas that i have lots of…and maybe a couple puerhs

This is uh…an interesting looking tea. I’m going to have to go with Terri on this one… i put a small taste into my mouth and then promptly had to spit it out. Ew…this is uh… not good.

sipdown! I think i need to get my hands on a few more norbu teas. This is a lovely tea. This is a tea with an earthy taste. there’s some sweetness to this as well, and it reminds me of something that i can’t quite place.

I’m so glad i bought an ounce of this before my sample arrived and i’d even tried it. This is the perfect fall/winter tea for me. It’s like a chai but then it softens as the vanilla comes to the forefront. Later, as it starts to cool, i can taste the base coming through more strongly. Lending an almost chocolatey sort of vanilla blend.

Boiling 3 min, 45 sec

Sounds so tasty!

I bought this when i was in victoria this summer, hoping that it would be more like the other orange puerh that i tried from…shmiracles i think it was? In any case, i was really looking forward to that puerh with the subtle orange flavouring from the mandarin that it was packaged in. The dry leaf certainly smelled that way, but once brewed this tastes mostly like a woodsy bold puerh. Not a bad cup, but not what i was hoping for.

sipdown! this is a pretty good average russian caravan. This is not their smokey version, which suits me fine this morning. It’s a refreshing tea without the boldness that i like in a morning tea, so this would like be more of an afternoon tea for me. Overall a decent blend

Sipdown! this is a fantastic tea! It’s slightly malty with a bit of fruity deliciousness. There’s a sweetness to this that i am really enjoying that goes hand in hand with the slight citrus and background hints of slight bitterness. thanks so much terri (and nofars)!

Terri HarpLady

Yup, that was a tasty one!

this is a tasty smooth light brew. i love the honey notes in this and how the brew is just an overall pleasant cup to start the day.

Nature’s Tea Leaf has a lot of great teas!

mmm a sample from dexter, which i have apparently already tried once, but it’s good to revist teas. I can totally understand why she gets “cantaloupe” from this one, as do others. For me, it’s more of a squashy spicey cantaloupe pumpkin tea. it’s weird, but pretty darn tasty! I am enjoying this a bunch tonight as i organise my tea cupboard. It looks like i’m ending the evening at 206, but that’s after adding in the teas from taiwan tea crafts that i picked up from the post office today. I also have a plan for tomorrow…i WILL get to 200 by the end of sunday…oh yes i will. Even if Kittenna drops off teas for me, i WILL manage it!

I had this again tonight..pretty tasty all things considered but if you don’t like hibiscus, it’s best to keep the steeping short! and add sugar :)

So no real clue what to write about myself here. A friend got me into drinking loose tea and it’s something I thoroughly enjoy though I have nowhere near the experience that many folks on the boards seem to have.

My other interests are cycling, reading, board games, disney cruises, world of warcraft and dancing – in no particular order. I love travelling and am currently working on trying to get my other half to as many place in the world as possible.
