6481 Tasting Notes
sipdown! (182) my cupboard WOULD have been at about 155 today and I easily would have made it to my dec 31 goal however i received my package from Miss B yesterday and now i’m up at 182 haha. that may change a little if i get enough energy to pull my swaps together that need to go out but i’ll consider my goal achievable and just aim for 140 by the end of January. I had a rare thought that i would try to get my cupboard down by 10 every month in 2014 so that by November i’d be able to order 60 teas and still be under 100 haha. I’ll probably still aim for that, along side of my goal of not having teas older than 10 months in my cupboard. :)
I had the last couple of bags of this tea as a latte and i’m glad that i did. it makes this a MUCH better cup of tea by making it a creamier, stronger chocolate tasting tea. Not a restock for me, but it was tasty to drink.
I’m trying to stick to teas that i am familiar with today or teas that have a really strong flavour since my senses are a little diluted today. I cannot stand being sick. I’m barely getting work done today and sitting takes all my energy. Nap central is my house today.
This tea came courtesy of Terri! I have no recollection as to whether i asked her for this one or she just sent a sample my way…either way it’s pretty good. The cinnamon is a little sweet in this one – but i found that today, drinking it side by side with a black tea made it perfect lol when i’m not sick again i’ll give it a shot again. But i like this mix of cloves and orange.
backlog from the weekend. Another tea i had but can’t remember anything beyond the fact that i enjoyed it quite a bit lol
edit: i mad it to 157..but then miss B’s tea showed up AND i’m sick so i can’t drink a whole lot that’s new. So not going to make my dec 31st goal but i did get pretty close AND didn’t buy a bunch of things i wanted to as a result :)
Another tea from Tastybrew via the BBB Box. I used to LOOOOOVEEEEEEE frank’s cinnamon roll honeybush and then, i didn’t. I love cinnamon swirl bread, and then i liked it less (still a great tea though). So now there’s this one. And i think cinnamon teas are teas that i love and then don’t love…ebbing and flowing like the tide.
I like very much that this tea still keep the base present. It’s not just cinnamon in a cup. it’s baked goods like. mmmmm thanks tastybrew!
