3715 Tasting Notes
Holy sneezes and running nose this morning! I’m not sick but it’s almost like i’m allergic (probably to work). Finished a glorious weekend of working all weekend and now it’s back to the grind. Looking forward to getting back to the gym tonight though so that’s something. I picked this tea today because while it’s a nice chai – there’s a hint of citrus going on with it that vaguely reminds me of mulled spiced apple cider. I’m hoping this, with my morning smoothie will help jump start my day.
Ok azzrian! I think I have this one figured out. Bumping the rating up on this one now that I’ve gotten the hang of it. NOW I can taste the creaminess with the strawberry. Sooo note to self, revisit all my 52 teas and brew them for less time :) guess I should have tried that earlier but I guess i just wasn’t thinking. This, this is pretty darn good now :)
Talking about this tonight made me bust out this tea and make some. As the only oolong I’ve liked thus far on my tea journey, adding the maple just kicked it out of the park. I LOVE the maple AND pecan taste that Stacy has captured. This is a fantastically wonderful fall tea. Oh yes….yes yes and yes!
It was just a sample size because i’m trying to curb my tea spending but i was really glad to taste this one, so much so that I’m thinking of buying this (or whatever version verdant has) again. I just really love the flavours. I’m not a big green tea fan but this..this i would drink again and again. Bumped the rating up again :)
So this tea, cold brewed? DELICIOUS! Sadly this is also a sipdown but this is a really enjoyable cold brewed tea. I’ll have to look into getting another similar rooibos sometime for those hot summer days. But for now this is just a great refreshing cold brew – with just a splash of sweetner to bring out the orange :)
