6828 Tasting Notes
20 away from my sipdown goal that i was aiming to get to by the end of august, but i’m making progress – last month i was 27 away heh. So there’s still hope that i can wrap things up by the end of the year, which is really all that matters anyway. I ended august at 90, which is still pretty good considering unplanned paris shopping splurges and butiki closing.
This one is from paris and i am still loving it. I’m nearly through the bag and that’s alright because i have a few other fruit teas that i can drink if this awful heat carries on in to september. Here’s hoping for a cooler day in EIGHTEEN DAYS though… even if it’s just for that one day :)
I pulled this one out today because even though it’s stupidly hot and humid again, it felt cooler to me and i was looking for something a little more decadent. So glad i picked this one up as it is a nice vanilla tea. Maybe not my all time favourite, which i’d be hard pressed to name i think, but delicious nonetheless.
tea from earlier today. We’ve had a nice lazy-ish sort of day today as our first weekend where we were both in town and for the most part, he wasn’t working. I enjoy this one, but it’s not my favourite assam. it’s a little drying while also feeling very juicy. That being said, i still really love these offerings from JW and they always make for an enjoyable cup to reflect on.
This was a much needed cup of tea after finally coming back from Ottawa. I made some good progress on teas while i was away, but still a ways to go over the next week. It’s almost september!!! I don’t anticipate having much time in septeber – 4 more weekends until we’re through to the other side of wedding! :)
