5578 Tasting Notes
SIPDOWN! (219) That number right there tells me that i’ve been a crazy tea drinker this morning! Looks like i’ll hit 215 this weekend for sure even if i drink no tea on sunday :) This is going on my re-order list for my july order with stacy right away. I have thoroughly enjoyed drinking every last little bit of this one! I love how the banana is not in your face but it’s still obviously there!
Sipdown! Nearly time for some caffeine free blends to sipdown while I watch a little tv and relax before I have to try and run some errands before the all nighter tonight. As much as I’ve enjoyed this one, I think that I don’t need to restock it. I much prefer Stacy’s other Assam. Theres an astringency in this one that threatens to come out if you don’t pay attention to it that I’m less fond of. Still a good solid cup of tea but not my favourite Stacy tea :)
mmmm. it’s official, i would love this even more without the coconut. I relaly like the mint and pineapple but with the addition of the coconut it gets to be a bit muddled and doesn’t seem nearly as tasty as it could be. Tossing the last of this in for a cold brew to see if that makes things any more exciting and different! :)
sipdown (223) I promise it won’t just be sipdowns today but i DO have lots to drink up if i’m going to reach my goal for this weekend. The rest of this is off to my tea sister so that she gets a chance to drink this as well. Part of the fun of having similar tastes is that it makes sharing that much more fun :) I’d order this again if i needed a decent black brew :)
SIPDOWN!(224) I tried cold brewing this one to see if the flavours would be more to my liking. Turns out as a cold brew this is a very green tea. The flavours get a little lost in the cold brew. Overall, this isn’t my favourite tea – but that’s not surprising given that it’s a green tea and my preferences lean towards black/puerh. Still glad to have tried it so thank you shmiracles!
