7482 Tasting Notes
I have been hoarding this tea..no longer! Today was 5 pearls for a 16oz travel mug and it was perfect. Seriously, i REALLY hope that Mandala is able to secure more of these in the future so that it doesn’t become like my beloved that i can’t bring myself to finish. :) Really though…these resteep well, and the chocolatey deliciousness of these are just awesome.
second last cup of the evening. I wanted a few more cups but felt like today was one of those days the caffeine might get to me…even if just because i had a stupidly insane work day today. So i pulled this one out and again i’m remind of what a tasty tea this is…and even though it’s more lemon than ginger, it’s still a good time!
nice…. I figured i really should try the original orzo, since i started with the caramel/honey one. I’ll also have to make sure i steal a cup of Kittenna’s strawberry orzo before she picks up her teas. :) I think i prefer soba from H&S for a normal cup of wheat sort of tea. However, the caramel/honey version of this is like a creamy cup of coffee for me and i love it. Normal orzo sits somehwere in between the two. I still love this cup, but it’s a little one dimensional…it’s like there’s something missing to push it over the edge to a wonderful cup of warm yum. still though? i’ll enjoy all of the rest of my cups…
WHOOOOO EEEEEEE! i love this ! hahaha I’m super glad MissB was kind enough to send me some…even if i think it was a ploy to give me a heart attack in terms of my cupboard numbers. Since i’m finding great success with Tea Gsweoriuweojsofns teas, i can see this being added to an order in the future. It wouldn’t be an every day tea, but this is a really nice spicier sort of delicious tea. I really like the want the fennel smells like, and i like that the tea isn’t just spicy. there are multiple flavours peaking out all over the place. Of course, that being said, i uh steeped this for a little long so i’m sure it’s MUCH more on the spicier side than most people would want bwahahahah oopsy!
this one is a little better. Likely because of the ginger in it…ginger makes every thing better for me haha. Another one from Cavocorax that i can get behind. Still not an overwhelmingly AMAZING tea, but it’s not a bad little cup if you’re after a fandom sort of blend. I wish the ginger was a lot stronger in this but it did show up a little.
thanks cavocorax this is an interesting sort of tea… i’m not sure how i feel about it. on one hand it’s a decent enough chai-like sort of tea with a bit of spice/kick to it. on the other hand…it’s weird. there’s a fruitness here that seems out of place. i guess i don’t hate this, but i don’t love the crap out of it either :)
