7178 Tasting Notes
oh terri. you make my harp sing..you make everything…grrooooovy. (yes i know what the proper lyrics are…)
i LOVE this tea. It was so just the thing i needed today. I brewed it western style and was drinking it while working and totally hit the bottom of the mug asap because it was so darn delicious. Plus, the leaves make me happy…they’re like little golden yellow pine needles. mmm this is so wonderfully malty and cocoa-y and just exactly what i needed while i was drinking it this morning.
sipdown on this one! I’ve been drinking it most of the morning. this is a smooth tasting puerh that is slightly hoppy but mostly just really tasty haha. It reminds me a little of the puerh from manadal i really love – not so much in how it tastes but in how it feels. yeah…feels lol this doesn’t leave my mouth dry and for those who are just starting to enjoy puerhs, this isn’t earthy or muchroomy (at least to me…) and it’s lighter tasting that some of my favourites.
love getting to stay home to be productive with work. We got a note from the apartment ppl yesterday saying contractors would be propping our door open for 30 mins today as they paint our doors. Um…say what? i don’t think so..not if i’m not home! Best thing ever since the last time the same contractors were here, they did the work and then left our apartment unlocked. great cool..love that.. NOT. On the plus side? taking this time today to get through a few more teas before the weekend rolls around. I figure even though i KNOW i’m getting teas in florida, since they won’t be back until march they hardly count towards my february total…riiight? :)
This is a relatively tasty tea from tastybrew and our BBB Box. Happy to have had the chance to try at least one of joy’s teaspoons straight teas since i’ve only really had her flavoured teas. :)
This was a wonderful sample from my dearest swedish chef (fjellrev)….She sent me a lovely package of teas that i haven’t had from bayswater including this one. I started with this one because i figured it would be my least favourite. Heh Coconut and i are not usually friends. This coconut is the sort of coconut that isn’t that awful rancid turning sort. If there was ever a coconut to love, it would likely be this type. That being said, i don’t love this tea because it IS a little too coconutty for me. I really enjoyed the aroma of this one though. Appreciate the share though my dear swedish chef! Looking forward to all of the goodies :) No rating because i think coconut fans would like this one!

oy..i have some catching up to do and very little desire to do it since i’m tired and just want to go to bed. I had this in the morning, since i’m still trying to get around to having some match every day…or close to it. :) I enjoyed this one, though i’m still thinking about tiramisu. This has a smooth, delicious irish creamy taste to it. My sample is distinctive, but i think it would probably be best as a Robust flavouring. As usual, i had this as a latte. It was the perfect start to my morning. no sweetener necessary for this one, though with a pinch of sugar the taste popped just a little :)
Again, still not much to add about this tea beyond the fact that I am still loving it. No sipdowns today i expect since i’m not really in the mood for tea tonight but i DID receive an awesome package from my dear swedish chef, which means i’m back up in numbers. However, it gives me fun things to try out over the week and on the weekend! haha

Since the BBB Box is soon to be on it’s way back to me, I need to get cracking on the teas that were sent to me during the last round. This is one of three teas that Terri included as her offerings.
I forgot to make notes on this one today and it’s from eaaarly this morning. I vaguely remember this been a fairly smooth tasting tea with a slight..fruity note? Not taiwanese black fruity, but there was a hint there. I’ll take better notes next time! i did enjoy it though terri :)
