5761 Tasting Notes
mmmm! this is the perfect tea to accompany spicy salsa and nachos! :) the spiciness in the salsa only helps to enhance and bring out the sweet blackberry and pomegranate taste. Still not my favourite of 52 blends but this is still pretty good. I still need to try it as a cold brew though…keep forgetting!
I figured i really should get around to drinking MY samples some of the china teas i brought back with me. This one is pretty good for a packaged green tea. The leaves are light and fluffy and the brew is really refreshing. It’s almost like drinking spring water only it’s not water and clearly has that green tea taste to it lol
SIPDOWN! (219) That number right there tells me that i’ve been a crazy tea drinker this morning! Looks like i’ll hit 215 this weekend for sure even if i drink no tea on sunday :) This is going on my re-order list for my july order with stacy right away. I have thoroughly enjoyed drinking every last little bit of this one! I love how the banana is not in your face but it’s still obviously there!
Sipdown! Nearly time for some caffeine free blends to sipdown while I watch a little tv and relax before I have to try and run some errands before the all nighter tonight. As much as I’ve enjoyed this one, I think that I don’t need to restock it. I much prefer Stacy’s other Assam. Theres an astringency in this one that threatens to come out if you don’t pay attention to it that I’m less fond of. Still a good solid cup of tea but not my favourite Stacy tea :)
mmmm. it’s official, i would love this even more without the coconut. I relaly like the mint and pineapple but with the addition of the coconut it gets to be a bit muddled and doesn’t seem nearly as tasty as it could be. Tossing the last of this in for a cold brew to see if that makes things any more exciting and different! :)
