tea of the morning hat i had hours ago with breakfast. My other half and i are trying to get the house cleaned up – in sort of a mini winter cleaning or whatever. It’s making for a long productve day with not a lot of computer time haha. Still enjoying this tea quite a bit, though i vastly prefer it at home than in a travel mug.

It’s a good tidying day. I got my living room back this morning :)

i’ve decided that i don’t like goji berries. they interfere with things that are good. bah. This roooibos was another from yesterday from bear with me. This one was one that i had high hopes for because of the smell, but brewed it was a weird sort of fruity, creamy rooibos with that distinctly goji berry taste, CURSE YOU GOJI! lol thanks for the decidely different tea BWM! still fun to have.

Final Count of 2014: 85 (goal was 75 so i’m giving myself until the end of the weekend to get there…) 2014 was the year where i tried 818 new teas, bringing my total up to 2216 teas tried (roughly) since i joined steepster.

Wow… you’re my tea sipping hero! :)

cupboard is going to go up a bunch in the new year….but i’ll keep trudging along lol

Wow, that’s a tonne of teas! I am both impressed by how many you’ve tried and how small your cupboard is.

Anlina – it’s been a loooong journey from 350+ to this small lol made easier now by knowing what sorts of teas i really like. heh

Bear With Me

I have to say, I had a LOT of fun dishing stuff out for you!

Another tea from bear with me and yesterday….this tea has a really nice black base. This tea is NOT maple syrup…it’s more like maple cream..HA. sorry. uh..little foggy on the rest of the details but it was quite an enjoyable cup yesterday :) thanks BWM!

another tea from bear with me thanks again for the rooibos samples! this is the sort of rooibos that does NOT have that woodsy sort of taste, so yay for that! this doesn’t really taste like your usual pumpkin spice tea. instead its more like a creamy tea. I’m not really getting pumpkin pie from this, but it is a tasty tea heh.

tea from yesterday. Still really glad i was able to get 2oz of this. I’m not sure how i’m going to find another company that does flavoured teas as well as stacy. it’s sad. this tea though is great, and i love that this is still on the other base

oh bear with me you know how i’ll try anything lol. fancy this…a tea with two of my arch nemeses….the dreaded blergamot AND his nefarious evil twin – jasmine. I of course didn’t know it until the water hit the leaves…. and then they popped up! Admittedly though, it “almost” works in this tea. The blergamot is subdued a little by the jasmine and neither one is overpowering. I just don’t like the flavour combination that it has. thanks for letting me try this though BWM! wasn’t as bad as i would have thought it would be haha

Bergamot and Jamine definitely do not scream Canadian to me. Ha ha.

i thought it was a straight tea…until i added water heh

Bear With Me

Pretty sure that was the cheekiest one I sent you, so everything else should be pretty safe ;)

She chose a good smooth base which I think helped too. It’s not a combo I ever would have thought of, but it’s grown on me!

started out today with this tea since i’m trying to continue to be good about drinking old favourites. This tea has really become something i enjoy drinking as it’s gotten older. First time i had it, it was still a little….“fresh” :)

omgsrsly sent this one my way and i am a fan! Do i, as usual, wish it was a little more orangey and a little more vanilla-y, of course. But i really enjoyed the few cups of this one that i had. It’s not too sour and it’s got a really nice blend of flavours going on. It also tasted really nice hot and cold :)

this + maple syrup = happiness. not much else to say haha

Unfortunately, this organic Keemun is no longer available. :-(

i know. they were awesome enough to let me buy some that they had left over. Their new black is also pretty good!

So no real clue what to write about myself here. A friend got me into drinking loose tea and it’s something I thoroughly enjoy though I have nowhere near the experience that many folks on the boards seem to have.

My other interests are cycling, reading, board games, disney cruises, world of warcraft and dancing – in no particular order. I love travelling and am currently working on trying to get my other half to as many place in the world as possible.
