8052 Tasting Notes
Free Sample from a Tea Story – thank you so much for sharing. I’ve had this type of blend before, so it wasn’t a shocking new thing for me. What i can say about this particular blend is that it hits the spot. this is light, refreshing and i am a fan of the slight orange that comes through. I think this would be particularly delicious with a dash of honey. Thanks for sharing!
VariaTEA provided this one to me. As i’d seen her tasting note on this, and seeing the tea itself, i knew i’d need to keep the steeping short. I had this one, steeped at about a min. So my cup was decent. copper notes, with a little astringency. Not my all time favourite ceylon or anything, but decent. That being said, i’ve only found a couple ceylons i’ve ever truly fallen in love with. I can’t imagine brewing it for any longer as this is a really strong tea. I’m thinking this might be up omgsrsly’s alley.
mmmmm trying to at least get a little closer to my sipdown goals for this year but lining up some sipdowns for August. I won’t make my goal in July, but i might be able to get back on track in august if i whittle a few more teas down heh. This one is always a great cup to enjoy in order to slow down. I don’t lov it in my travel mugs so i generally drink it when i’m home. it’s a great tea in that, if i need something a little more intense, i can brew it for 4 mins, while 3 mins gives me a good morning tea, that isn’t quite as bold.
