3040 Tasting Notes
SIPDOWN! I figured i might as well end my sipdowns for the evening with this one, since it marks my 2600th note since i joined steepster 14 months ago. In that time i’ve met some fabulous people and tried 1118 teas…if steepster is to be believed lol.
This one is interesting but not a repurchase for me. i like the sandalwood addition. thanks for sharing this with me cavo!
Sipdown! Another tea from tastybrew. I like this one less than the other. I don’t really get the whole caramel macchiato flavour. It’s an “ok” tea, but I’d rather have the other one, an did rather just drink the actual coffee beverage over that one. Still though, happy to have tried it :)
Sipdown! Lol I’m like an addict who just can’t stop….plus I’m soooooooooo bored. I’m about to crack open my box set of Roald Dahl books to see how many of them i can read tonight since I’ve watched a lot of TV.
Trying this one again, I think I’ve landed on being ok with this brew, though I’d rather just drink coffee. The flavour isn’t bad, but for something like this, I’d really rather just have that delicious coffee flavour…coffee…chocolate……mmmmm
Thanks for sharing though tastybrew! I was super curious about these ones!
SIPDOWN! 221 and i am 98% water for sure at this point. i REAAAAAALLLYY wanted to get to 217 today but i’m not sure i can do it. It’s getting late and i should probably stop drinking fluids lol
There are some silver needles that i quite like, and there are others that are pretty much water. This is one of the former – it’s a delicious juicy white tea.
sipdown! thank you kaylee! suprisingly enough…i REALLY like this. Contrary to my usual dislike of earl grey’s i am enjoying this! The mint isn’t overly present, but it tempers the bergamot and makes this a really nice cup. also..it’s GREEEEEEEEENNN! lol
sipdown! this was a cold brew since i wanted to try and see how it fared as a cold brew. Although this isn’t a bad brew, i MUCH prefer this hot brewed, since as a cold brew i kept expecting it to be orange cream, not chocolate orange. :) Thanks again for this cavo…i like it :)
SIPDOWN! After waking up the sick, snoring man and feeding him, I figured it was time to get back to a few more teas before i reached my limit for today…i’m starting to feel a bit sloshy but i think the food will help me too haha. All in all, not sad to see this go but i enjoyed it while i had it. whee!
sipdown! so um…maybe i don’t like ceylon? lol I couldn’t drink this one and i had been super careful to steep it for less than my usual amount of time. It was just TOOOOO brisk, even for me. Ah well, you can’t win ’em all…but you CAN win the SIPOFF! cough well ONE of us can….
where you at terri? lol
this smells divine! I haven’t had the cacao tea from herbal infusions in a long time but i think this is very similar. I’m at 226 now but i wanted a delicious non caffeinated tea so i thought i’d try this one. Terri is mia, and i’m sure she’ll come out of nowhere and show me like 12 sipdowns lol
I’d like to do a comparison of this one and the one from herbal infusions to see which i like better, but i am really digging the delicious chocolatey taste of this. It’s a little watery but still flavourful..i think that’s largely because i keep expecting this to be hot chocolate lol
sipdown! this was a free sample with my american tea room order and not something i would have chosen for myself given that i strongly dislike coconut in 90% of all teas.
I can’t rate this tea, because i could barely drink it. the coconut smell was too overpowering, so i managed a sip before having to give up. What i will say, is that this DOES taste like macaroons. If that’s your thing, it’s worth trying out :)
