Split purchase with raritea from the toronto tea festival. This is supposed to be a blueberry muffin but i think it’s more muffin than blueberry. That being said, the rooibos in this makes for a pretty decent baked muffin kind of tea. Just wish it was a WEEEEEEEEE little bit more blueberry.
mmmmmmmmmm muffins! wheee!
cherry cough syrup drizzled on inferior quality chocolate? apparently. ick. Not a fan of this one in the least. It’s not a terrible tea but i for sure would prefer to not drink it than drink it since there are so many other teas out there that have better flavour and tea notes to them. Happy to have tried it but that’s about as far as that goes. eesh
As i was brewing this up i was trying to figure out what it was reminding me of. kittenna nailed it – David’s tea: glitter n gold. Less gold spinkles, more cinnamon and less sweet than David’s IMO. Over all not a bad tea but i really only needed this one cup to drink. The rest can go into the swap box!
I’m going to assume that this one was from raritea Also a sipdown – thank god for 2 cup (normal size) samples that let me finish them off in one Sil sized mug! This isn’t a tea that i need in my cupboard all the time but that’s more due to my penchant for blacks. Greens and whites tend to be a little light for my tastes.
This has a really nice base and there aren’t any floral notes, which a lot of greens tend to have. I also really like the juicy feel to this tea. Thanks for the share!
i wish i could drink this. I had a sip of it and it was tasty because i’m not a hibiscus hater but oh. my. god. the aroma of this tea seeped reminds me of walking in to a bath shop…like LUSH…where all i do is sneeze and want to get the hell out of there (sorry LUSH lovers!). The taste does not compute with the aroma of this one and my head can’t get past it. Thanks to kittenna for this sample.
Thank you whatshesaid (i swear i almost wrote whatshername again) lol This one was part of our swaps and i’m SUPER glad to get to try it before i had to make a purchase. I’m not quite how i feel about this one yet. I may need to try it cold brewed first. The bergamot and I do not get along. at all. But this is a strange tea. It smells a little like florence from harney and sons…but then it tastes a little like caramel with a splash of fruitiness. I’m going to have to play with this one a little more. I don’t hate it, but i’m not sure how i feel about it yet. heh
SIPDOWN! of the secret tea that Stacy’s been working on lately. I actually did a cold brew of this one a few days ago and it was delicious. Tonight’s steeping is hot with the last of it. I’m looking forward to this one eventually being up on her website. It’s a fruity lighter tea that i quite enjoy,
