5945 Tasting Notes
i keep forgetting to make this as a latte, even though i know i love it that way. Not that i don’t love it brewed in water, ‘cause i do but sometimes you just want a latte (although i clearly don’t or i’d remember lol). Still loving this one – it’s just different enough from other herbals blends that i can’t see getting sick of this one any time soon. :)
oh god. So i couldn’t find this one on steepster because it was hiding away from the rest of the secret garden teas. I’ve located it now and tried to condence the listing but at the time i brewed this, i was just thinking some sort of black blend.
firs sip.. ah gawd! it’s…it’s jasmine! and blergamot! IN THE SAME CUP! aaaaah! yeah that’s pretty much how that went. Still though, i’ll try nearly anything. and i suppose if you like that sort of thing and it wasn’t your mortal enemy…this would be a decent cup as the base blends nicely with those ingredients. bah. lol
this was my morning tea today, though it’s not exactly this tea. A few of us are experimenting with vanilla bean and this was a trial to see how the blending is coming along. so far so good, it’s not nearly as vanilla-y as i want it to be but it it IS really tastey. the vanilla adding a little creaminess to this base. I’ll have to let is sit a little longer and maybe add a bit of vanilla powder as well, see if that helps make it a richer taste. so far though, not too shabby!
another tea from Anlina that i had the other night. This one is a must try for coconut lovers. That being said, i’m not a HUGE fan of coconut as i find in tea blends that it goes rancid fairly quickly and sometimes the tastes is too intense. That being said, i can understand how folks who love coconut would enjoy this a bunch. It’s creamy and chocoaltey and very much like a dessert tea. Sadly the coconut is too much for me to really love it. It’s more personal preference than this being a bad tea. :)
