15049 Tasting Notes
Late start to drinking tea today because my water broke this morning lol. It had me laughing at least so that’s good. However now it means i really get to play the waiting game since it broke before labour started. Husband is at work today and thankfully he listened when i told him to stay there. No point in having him around the house fretting about things. I’m taking it easy, packing the hospital bag and figuring out what else we were trying to get done this week given kiddo is quite early.
Tea is very much needed even just for the ritual of keeping my relaxed and calm. Pulled this one out since it’s a sipdown AND i know i enjoy it. Sad to see it go, but fitting in some ways since Spring is hopefully approaching soon. Today’s cup is just great – creamy, wonderful blend of the spices and a great base tea to go with.

Thanks guys, still a whole lot of waiting around for something to happen to go. Just trying to stay calm and not get anxious. 4 hrs later and it’s pretty much same as it was this morning :)

still waiting for labour to start lol. I’m sure at this point the kid will decide 2-3am is a good time to start things up so i get the least amount of sleep as possible. ha!

BABY! Ahhhhh!!!! I can’t wait to hear! Make sure to take a video today/tomorrow – if you’re anything like me, seeing those tiny newborn movements on camera makes me tear up every time. I wish I’d taken more footage but at least I have something! :)

Just a note to say that i finished this one while on vacation this week at the cottage. Not overly sad to see it go – a little too much mint for me even though yes…it IS a mint julep haha. IE. not the tea’s fault :) did enjoy it while i had it, as long as i scooped out more of the mint when brewing it.
