7674 Tasting Notes
sample from evol ving ness as i have to get through a few samples as well as get started on the GCTTB. I brewed this one up thinking it was a straight black for some reason. However as soon as the water hit the leaf, i knew that wasn’t the case. Sadly this isn’t a tea i can get behind. I suspect it’s the rose and lychee combination. I get zero chocolate from this one. Nothing wrong with the tea itself, but for me, this doesn’t work. Always happy to try new things though, so thanks evol!
One of two teas today. Yesterday we went out to Niagara for an event at the winery for which we’re members. It was our first event as we’re trying out this whole wine thing this year. Needless to say it was fantastic but a late night, especially since this morning we were up early to go out to Niagara again for a redo at one of the wineries that we hadn’t had a great experience with. So i packed this one today to drink on our adventures. A seriously great day for just being out and about..sunny skies, just me and my other half spending time together in the car, at wineries and really making a day of our saturday off together.
i forgot to take this out of my cupboard last weekend when i shared the last of this with cavocorax and christina. While i thoroughly enjoyed this one, i still think i like the fauchon version just a tiny bit more. that being said, it’s still an oolong, and i love it, so that speaks volumes to this tea :)
Morning tea. I vastly prefer drinking this one at home in a ceramic mug, so it almost always becomes my tea for working at home :) Still enjoying this one though it would be nice if smaller options were available. I still don’t LOVE most ceylons, but there are a few out there including this one that isn’t so bad :)
