this day is getting away from me…and i’m super frustrated. Some asshat basically couldn’t park last night and instead of oh i dunno, hitting the brakes, hit the gas and rammed in to our car hard enough to knock it backwards. Then they got out and walked off. We have the security footage from the store we were parked in front of, but you can’t see their license plate, and this is the last thing we want to be dealing with before the long weekend sigh not to mention getting the car fixes, insurance etc..

I seriously hate people sometimes. Like things happen…just leave a note!

anyway…drinking tea and trying to be less frustrated with the world. On the plus side, it’s almost a new year, we’re going fat biking tomorrow with the dogs and my work day is light. Focus on the positives!

life is too short to drink mediocre tea that smells like uh…things that tea shouldn’t smell like. Even though i don’t mind this tea nearly as much as others, i’m not keeping it around. tea drinking shouldn’t be a chore!

mmmm this one was another sample from VariaTEA (there are a LOT of them…) and this one is more up my alley. The creamy maple goodness, along with that AQ2T baked good flavour was just the thing for this evening. I like this one quite a bit, though i’m not sure if i need it in my cupboard more often.

I think the apple cider i’ve been drinking isn’t the apple cider you guys have been drinking haha. This one was apple-like…but i wouldn’t go so far as to call it cider. Mostly it was just weird. Maybe i’m the weirdo but this one wasn’t for me. Appreciate the share always VariaTEA!

I didn’t know what a cranberry betty was…now that i’ve looked it up on the interwebs after having this tea…i’m not sure that this tea would really capture the feeling of a baked good. that being said, this was much tastier than it smelled lol. I picked up the cranberry notes, but instead of “baked goods” it was just a generally tasty, slightly sweet but also tart smooth tea. I enjoyed this one! and as always, thanks a ton VariaTEA!

this one smelled wonderful when i opened up the packet. i was super excited for it. Brewed though…slightly different story. That’s not to say it’s a bad tea but man if this isn’t a slightly less sweet version of orange triaminic, i dunno what is!

Well i’m sad to say that this one was a big ol’ nope for me. I appreciate the share VariaTEA but something in this one doesn’t work well for me. I suspect it’s the raspberry leaf/lemon combination. too bag ’cause i do like the fig flavouring.

this one was tastier today than the first time i had it…the nuts weren’t nearly as present as the first cup. On the whole, while this was an enjoyable cup, it’s not the right blend for me.

finished this one up as well. I do like the balance between the peach and blackberry in this one. :)
