15049 Tasting Notes
Starting the morning out with a couple straight teas before i switch off to puerh and flavoured sampllings today. This is a sipdown, which is good because i just added a bunch of teas too my cupboard. Today i’m getting plum? notes in this cup which is nice, but it’s not enough for me to bump the rating up. I’ve been slightly disappointed with these lots from TTC…hopefully they’ll be better the next time i order and we’ll get back some of those deliciously intense honey black flavours.
Starting the morning out with this one – very nearly finished with this one….though i have a hoard of puerh to get through after it. Mandala tends to be me go to, not because my other puerh is not as delicious, but i know exactly what i’m getting with Mandala and happen to love it. :) It’ll be nice to enjoy multiple steeps of this one while i work from home today.
My only tea from today – needed it for comfort and security for my toughest challenge yet. I had a soul session today with my wedding photographer. I am not a big fan of being in front of the camera – not sure most people are, but this was something i really wanted to do, to celebrate taking back my life from work, and finally starting to find my ground again. We’ve been trying since my wedding to connect on this, and it finally happened, in what i think was the right time for it. So today was all about just getting out of my comfort zone and doing something for me!
So i had the last of this tea today – rainy crazy day…warm comforting chocolate delicious tea.

this is exactly what i wanted today. It’s cold and blustery out and my husband and i are both running ragged from 2 weeks of back to back work travel and deadlines. Tomorrow isn’t much better as he’s got to work for inventory, and i’m at a photo shoot. Then it’s a crazy week. Looking forward to next weekend when I’m taking an extra day off on friday to make my weekend 4 days…love getting remembrance day off :)

Oh and October month end? Made it to 39 teas but i’m SUPER far off my weight goal of 1750g. Instead i only made it to 2090 AND i have a number of teas coming this month. However, i did get a bit of puerh drinking in, so i’ll consider that piece a win. And hey, at least i’ve spent a lot less on tea this year…i think haha
