Another one from yesterday – love this tea, especially when i remember to brew it according to josephs recommendations haha (175-180)

When I see smaller thinner leaf I always lower the temp. Big robust take boil ;)

had this one yesterday and i’m very nearly done. Now to decide if i pay the more expensive price and pick some up from tea G in chicago next week or i stick with the canadian supplier tealish, which is NEARLY as good… haha.

MissB

Oh, that yummy? K, I’m grabbing some at Chapters then the next time I’m there. Yay!

Sil

I can always send you the last of this, or more when I get more. It’s a nice “fruity” tea for when I just want something not black. And I drink it both hot and cold and like it.

pulled this one out given my swedish chef’s tasting note. I brought back 200g of this version and another 100g of the fauchon version and i’m paranoid the flavour is going to disappear or turn on me. Thankfully i was able to share some with the girls when they were over, but i still have plenty for folks to enjoy. :) Still like this one, though i think i landed firmly on the side of fauchon’s being a teeny bit more to my liking, though not enough for me to be disappointed that i have less of it

MissB

Don’t worry about the Fauchon one – like I shared, Fauchon is opening soon on Robson Street in Vancouver. You’ll get as much as you want, whenever! :)

Fjellrev

Hell yeah!

And WHAAAAAAT to Fauchon opening in Vancouver soon. You just couldn’t do that when I was still living on the west coast now, could you?

OMGsrsly

I KNOW RIGHT?! You’ll have to come visit. Somehow. :)

noms. not sure what else to say. I love that this is grapefruit and mint, though i think i’d like this even without the mint. So happy i picked up a sample of this to try in my last order with AU

i really like this tea. I think i’ve figured out which tea i’ll be picking up with my free 50g. I figure that will be about as much as i need before i’ll get tired of it :)

Alyssa

Trying to decide if I should go for the 50 or the 100 (I’m within range!). How does it work? Do you go in and use your points or is it done online?

Evol Ving Ness

If you have the points, you can do either. However, you have to wait until they announce the redeemable period. The last one started in October, so I am guessing that the next period is January or February. They’ll send an email. Or you can check their website to see when the next period begins or ask when you visit one of their stores.

Sil

This current one ends Dec 4 i believe as i’ve got until then to use up my points

This was a sample provided by the secret garden tea company. I’ve been searching for a christmas spice tea that wasn’t as intense as many of other ones from france are. This one smells very similar to other christmas spice teas. Brewed up though, this is softer…christmas spice without that intense in your face orange, clove that a lot of spice teas have. I think that it might be the addition of vanilla, or perhaps the cranberries? The ingredients don’t list the berry that i can see, but the two makes this a tasty blend.

Thanks Secret Garden tea, for letting me try this one!

So no real clue what to write about myself here. A friend got me into drinking loose tea and it’s something I thoroughly enjoy though I have nowhere near the experience that many folks on the boards seem to have.

My other interests are cycling, reading, board games, disney cruises, world of warcraft and dancing – in no particular order. I love travelling and am currently working on trying to get my other half to as many place in the world as possible.
