teabag sipdown! (214) another one from the lovely CHAroma! This is actually a pretty darn tasty teabag :) I wish i had another bag to try this as a cold brew since hot it’s got a particularly decent mango flavour without having to be a herbal/fruit blend.
teabag sidpdown! no. just no. so while there are few people out there who think that i’m gradually going to cover over to the dark side and find love and happiness in an early grey – this is a tea to remind me of why i hate earl greys lol Thanks for the taste CHAroma! While i dislike this a lot (floral much?!?) i still am happy to cross another one off my list :)
Another Darjeeling for the day, though it’s not really helping with my sipdowns :) This is another tasty cup, brought to me by my lovely tea sister Terriharplady! One of the many joint purchases we’ve made together :)
This is closer to a black tea that i expect from darjeelings. It’s got a little boldness, a side of sweetness and a dash of delicious! :)
This darjeeling is a sweet, fresh tasting darjeeling. It tastes less like a “black” than it does a green/white tea, which i normally wouldn’t enjoy but with this tea, i do. The aroma of this one is sweet. Even the taste of this one is a sweeter kinda of taste.
teabag sipdown! This is a decent average tea bag black. It’s not as bold as i’d like it to be, but for a “to go” tea bag, it would be a pretty good teabag. Thank you CHAroma!
teabag sipdown! CHAroma sent this to me in our swap. I have to say that this one is pretty good :) I’m a fan of the pomegranate taste in this one as well as the base. Thanks CHAroma!
I’ve had this in my cupboard for a while as I had some bad experiences with darjeelings that put me off of trying this. Turns out? Tis one isn’t so bad. I’m not sure if its the fact that its second flush but its got a toasty feeling to it, though it does leave a dryness in my mouth that I’m not a huge fan of. Still though, I really should drink this mor often as its pretty good :)
So I’m pretty sure darjeelings aren’t my thing. Similar to most green oolongs, there’s a distinct flavour in a lot of them that I don’t enjoy. Stacy sent me this sample, and afterwards apologized because she realized that this wouldn’t be a tea I’d enjoy. That’s what I love about her – she tries to build relationships with her customers. :) I saved this for a day when I could try a few darjeelings at the same time to see how they compare. This one has a sweetness to it that I can get behind, but still carries that same Darjeeling taste. I think it’s the after taste that I don’t like. Well I can appreciate that this is a lovely tea, Stacy is right in that it is not the tea for me. Still though, I’m happy to have tried it :)
I had this one last night – it’s a fairly mid range black for me. There’s a little astringency to it, but nothing that would really ruin drinking it. However it does mean there are other teas i’d prefer to drink first :)
First cup of the morning – latte style. I will be really sad to see this one go as it is pretty much one of my favourite teas, especially when steeped in milk. It IS almost fall time though, which means i’ll have my chais as well since i tend to gravitate towards those in the fall. Maybe 1-2 more cups of this and then it’s all gone…
