Another cup from this morning. So delicious and malty. So good to be home.

i’m back from vacation. While it was a great vacation…i got to drink NO tea because a) the water had a dirt like quality that i wasn’t loving and b, the kettle at the place we were staying at was just…NO.

so i’m happy to be back drinking tea… sadly i got carried away with catching up at work while drinking this one so i don’t have a lot to say yet. the colder it gets, the more chocolate notes poke through, but i for sure need to have this one again. Glad dexter was able to send enough for me to have a couple cups :)

Sample from VariaTEA This one is way too sweet for me. WAY too sweet. For me, this doesn’t taste like straight maple syrup, it tastes like artificial maple flavour. It’s again, not a bad tea but i think it would have been better if i’d made it as a latte to cut through some of the sweetness. Still, glad to have tried it!

Another sample from VariaTEA. this one is a miss for me. It’s not a bad tasting tea, it’ s just not sure of what it wants to be. All i got from this one for the most part was “sweet”

noms. busy day of working on my vacation. had this earlier in the morning – a sample from dexter will write more another time but this is a really tasty non smokey lapsang. lots of chocolate notes and a smooth brew. tasty!

kittenna gave me a small sample of this one and it was pretty tasty. It’s not as intensely creamy orange as i’d like but it was really enjoyable.

noms. had a bit of this today in the afternoon. Tigress_Al sent this my way and it’s been nice to revisit it.

another one back in my cupboard from variatea…still a lovely cup, though it feels like the flavouring is starting to go. Not the end of the world though because i love white rhino :)

Sample from VariaTEA This is a decent enough tea. I still think my other fav bluebrry tea tops this one, but i do like the blending of this one. I wouldn’t say that there’s a lot of chocolate in this though…it’s closer to a straight blueberry tea imo than a chocolate blueberry. But it’s tasty. thanks variatea!
