5370 Tasting Notes
and no..no i don’t recommend this much tea in a weekend but then, if you only 2 hrs over the weekend, it’s not as difficult as it may seem given how many hours there are in the day. I’m still working…the migration finished forever ago but i need to fin tune something i need to launch today…and it’s giving me all sorts of grief. Add to that, the ppl who were supposed to get crap to me last week…and promised it to me this weekend…still not in my inbox sigh i’m soooo tired. i just want to eat and go to bed. and not go to work for a week!
This one is from variaTEA and is my favourite so far of the victorias tea whatever whatever teas… this has a nice raspberry taste to it, though i’m not getting a LOT of litchi…but it’s nice…and refreshing and would probably make an excellent cold brew. so thanks for sharing!
thanks again variaTEA (can you tell i’m finally getting to your sample box this weekend? lol) this one was actually quite pleasant. I’d need to be in the mood for a lapsang as this is a little more smokey than not smokey but it was a nice cup. hints of mint and…something else? made it more interesting than just a boring old lapsang heh
thanks again VariaTEA as these have been fun to try. this might be my favourite of the lot so far, except that there’s a bitterness in this one that i dislike. it also leaves me mouth feeling super dry. heh. BUT all that aside, this is a nice enough chai like sort of tea with just a hint of something sweet running through it. apparently that’s caramel but i am just not finding that..just “sweet” to me.
18/28 sipdowns (home stretch! lol)
VariaTEA sent this one my way and so today i thought it would be fun to go through as many of the Serenity Fandom teas as i could. This one was from earlier today as i’m still working ugh Sadly this one was just a muddling of flavours to me. i didn’t get much in the way of orange or chocolate..just a blend of a vaguely fruity sort of adagio black tea. :( it wasn’t bad but there wasn’t much distinct in here for me
I had this one earlier today as well when i wanted something a little lighter. This one was sent my way by omgsrsly likely via missB?? This one isn’t bad but it’s a little on the light side. While i’m not overly a fan of green teas, when i do have them, i like it when they’re a little more in your face in terms of their “green” flavour. this one seems almost subdued or something heh overall though, not bad just nothing to knock me off my feet.
this one came to me via YYZ and was another early morning, get me through this day, tea. This yunnan is a fruity sort of yunnan. On the whole i find that i prefer the sort of malty, chocolate, cocoa-y sort of yunnan. that’s not to say that this one isn’t bad, but it’s not the type that i prefer. it does reinforce that i need to get time to place an order with Capital teas though, as there are a number of tea there that i would likely really enjoy. Thanks for sharing YYZ!
