15049 Tasting Notes
While i’ve been mia lately, i HAVE been drinking tea, just haven’t had a lot of time between work and other things going on these days. Pulled this one out today because i have about a week left to get through a few sipdowns and this one is at least closer to being done than a lot of my teas. I enjoy this one, though it’s nicer with a splash of honey. Not sure if i’d get this again, as i think on the whole i’d prefer fruit tisanes for my "herbals
sample from an order from forever and a day ago. This one isn’t bad, but it’s very minty and not as much chocolate as i’d like to see. That’s not to say it’s bad, i do like the rooibos in this but it’s more mint than chocolate mint. And is still not contest for peppermint patty. heh
several attempts later to make this a cup i can drink, i give up. It’s a black tea that does taste like blueberry, but not chocolate to be found as far as i can taste. it’s also got a bitter sort of taste going on that leaves me wanting more from this. Just not my cup of tea.
I’ve had this a few times now and i’m just not feeling it. Very mild flavour and it comes across as a mostly black, buttery? fat like? tea.
Do you think that fat-like note would come from the base or a flavouring component? Mind you, I’ve yet to run across a buttery straight black tea.
The large white pieces are actually freeze-dried Asian pear. The butter flavor component is from the base and a natural butter emulsion.
