Another tea from awkward soul via Terri. I figured i should have one green tea today..i guess. Frankly the whole commercial weirdo holiday thing makes my brain hurt. This is a really lovely vanilla mint green tea. I know it SAYS raspberry but to my there’s only the hint of fruitiness in thebackground. It’s like the raspberry isn’t quite ready to come out and play. It DOES add something to the tea as it’s not quite JUST a vanilla mint green..but it’s not strong enough for me to say YES! Raspberry! YES!
full blown panic mode right now over wedding planning… just had a long conversation with my parents and now i may need to plan more than i thought i would, but for the right reasons..but now i’m like WHAT! only a year and a half! ZOMG! AAAAAH!
had a cup of this…which let me tell you, isn’t nearly as nice if it gets cold lol
This was my other flavoured tea from this morning. It’s also one of the teas terri and i picked up from Awkward Soul I have to say that this one smells strong, and has a really nice aroma. I’m not sure that i’d call it creme brulee exactly…but it’s delicious smelling. Upon brewing it, there’s a nice rich taste to this, though again…creme brulee? not really. It’s missing that sweet burnt sugar sort of taste in my opinion but it IS pretty tasty. hopefully Cavo will like this, and if not, she can continue the sharing tea! hahaha
Another one from terri! I think i’ve figured out how to get at least 1 of the three sipdowns i’m trying to do done every day and that’s by trying a new black tea every day as part of my rotation. Since keychange sent my her old timolino that means i still have 2 teas i’m guaranteed to enjoy in my travel mugs lol.
This one is one that i would be willing to pick up again if i needed to get to a certain price threshold for an order of something. it’s malty and bold but not bitter. I quite enjoyed having it in my mug this morning!
last cup of the evening since i haven’t had this in a while. I am really digging the richy almost coffee like essence of this. Not that it tastes like coffee but it has a depth to the body of this one that just makes me love it a lot. Is it sweet? not really.. it’s just… yummy. so there.
Final Count: 176 (which is freakin’ awesome considering i was at 197 saturday morning!)
mmmmmm i love this one! This is a great rooibos chai from terri! I followed her instructions and steeped this for what was likely 12 mins. The result is a really tasty spicy chai that makes me ever so happy. Especially since it’s a rooibos! I like the cardamon and the way that the flavours blend together. this also isn’t one of those woodsy sort of rooibos teas so it’s on my happy list! thanks for sharing terri!
nom nom nom. this one is pretty tasty. I don’t think i’d order it again, or maybe just one a year sort of thing but it’s a pretty good gingerbreadish sort of tea. This is another one from terri from awkward soul :) I have a feeling that the base in this one would turn bitter if brewed for too long as it reminds me of that sort of tea. However, this was certainly a tasty cup!
