15061 Tasting Notes
this + creme brulee = happy times. I’ve been holding off really digging in to these two that omgsrsly brought for me because bayswater is likely never going to get their crap together for online orders. Disappointing really since i’d likely order frequently from them.
Christina’s review on the other version of this from DF made me want to to revisit this one. Thankfully it’s still as wonderful as i remember. I for sure prefer this one to the DF version because it’s creamier and much more caramel…and the base is a little more hidden, which for me is good :)
Time to pull out my older teas more often since i’ve sort of been hoarding them. Not to mention i have the free shipping coupon from damn fine tea that i can use before June? i think it was, so i might as well drink up! I forgot how much i rather enjoy this one. It’s got a softer, almost sweet profile when brewed at lower temps. really nice to revisit this one.
Having a relaxing cup of tea while I get in some reading tonight. Hoping for an early night to catch up on some much needed sleep. Still enjoying this one, but i’d like to finish it off soon so i can take a break from it before the fall rolls around again haha
Final Count: 111
Final cup of this today. Figured it was a good one to get one more sipdown in before the weekend hits. I need one more after this one and then i need to weigh my cupboard and hope i’ve reached my february goal haha.
Are you at like 100 teas now? You have an amazing sipdown ability. I have been trying but just can’t keep up (which is why I have to cheat and load you up with more tea :P – though, I guess I’ll be nice and wait until after February so I don’t throw off your goals.)
this one came from omgsrsly Figured that i’d give it a shot today since i need to work on my puerhs and this one will need a couple rounds before i can consider it a sipdown heh.
On the whole this is a relatively decent puerh and one that was quite nice to visit over the course of the day. Earthy, smooth, no fermentation, light on the tail end of the sip. Not sweet, but more on that side than on a bitter side.
