5925 Tasting Notes
it’s oolong…it’s melon…it’s all gone! Still love this one, though it appears about 25g is enough to suit me when i pick it up. mostly because it starts to taste too much like an oolong if it’s been around for a little longer. Still, a deliciously wonderful melon tea that i will continue to enjoy in the future!
mmm..happiness is a cup of this one in the afternoon sun while i read my book. My other half is going to be working as much as possible over the next few weeks, which means that i’ll have a lot more time on my hands to be hanging out alone at the house. Suits me just fine as it forces me to slow down and do things like open up my books…sit…relax…drink more tea! haha.
thank you Angel for this sample. Sadly, i’ve had this a couple times now and it’s not the right puerh for me. There’s something about the taste that comes through on this one that just doesn’t work for me. Maybe it’s too green? not sure but i was still happy to try it. I know Angel has some fantastic puerhs that i do like, so i can handle not loving all of them :)
soooo what i have learned about this tea is that it needs to be had in a ceramic mug and NOT in a travel mug. In a mug, this is a delicious, cocoa-y tea that i adore. In a travel mug, i’m just not a fan of it. haha. There’s a sweetness to this one that i quite like especially when combined with the cocoa notes. I think i’d consider keeping this one around for special occasions to drink from time to time. mmm
