4825 Tasting Notes
dexter sent me this one off my wishlist and i proooobably should have cold brewed it. but i was really excited to have more non caffeine teas in my house..plus i totally read the label as SUPER STAN! and i was like hmmm let’s go see what makes him super. this is a nice enough tea, but there is less flavour POP than i want there to be. I’m getting more of the honeybush than i want, though the flavouring that is coming through is quite nice. I think this is probably one of those cold brew teas…nice, but better cold :) thanks dex!
Final Count: 150 (2 more packages inbound + 4 purchased teas…)
Another tea from Sami Kelsh Sadly this one didn’t taste like much of anything, but to be fair i DID accidentally steep it for like uh 30 mins. What was nice was that it wasn’t biutter…it just tasted like an every day cup of boring black tea, taken best with milk and sugar :) still though, points for not being a cup i had to dump, if a little boring :)
This is another from my hepatite swap with Sami Kelsh Yes, i AM trying to drink them all today so i don’t have to increase my cupboard too much with the teas from Sami and Dexter lol. I quite liked this one. Sadly, i had it a while ago so it’s not fresh in my mind, but that is usually the case when i’m trying to get my tea drinking on, and work decides to pester me. While i don’t think i’ll ever rate an adagio tea above 85, this one is up there. I like how the tastes in this one blend together AND i’m not getting that underlying “hey guess what? i’m an adagio black tea” taste happening. :)
plus… the peppercorn addition was kinda fun and made this tea a little more interesting to me! :)
Another one from my hepatite swap with Sami Kelsh This one is rather tasty. I know mojito’s have mint in them, but i feel like this is the wrong mint for this tea. It makes me want the mint to not be in the tea lol.
Edit: work got in the way of me finishing this review… long story short, this is really tasty, but i want the mint to be less present, or be a different type of mine. I really like the citrusy flavour of this one quite a bit.
I participated in the Hepatite swap this past month and yesterday i received my tea from my swap buddy. I’m not sure whether i’m more excited about getting my teas, or the thought of my swap buddy getting my teas. Heh…not that i want to spoil anything, but those of you who have um gotten tea from me, know a little of what she’s in store for hahaha.
Sami Kelsh sent this one my way and that’s awesome because it was on my wishlist of things to try someday! Mostly because of her review haha. this is delicious…delicious and creamy and man i would pick this one up again! The vanilla is there but there is also a cookie like quality to this that is so very tasty. Thank you so much Sami!
mmmmmm dexter sent this my way. My other half did a sneaky thing and picked up my tea yesterday but didn’t give it to me until today – he left it on the table for me to find in the morning since he knew i was working from home today. Doctor appointment this morning so it’s easier to go there and come back home than go all the way downtown. This is another yummy tea from yezi! I am digging the sweetness that it in this cup along with a sort of malty finish. mostly though, it’s just good. like nearly every yezi tea i’ve tried. nom nom nom thanks dexter!
oh bother. It’s official. these are finally finished up, out of my cupboard, possibly never to be seen again. sad. but happy. but sad. Seriously though. Favourite pearls ever. there’s just something deliciously wonderful about how malty and rich and yummy they are. If garett ever finds some again, they will be insta-buy. even if they won’t be exactly the same.
edit: also drinking this so early in the morning means i can resteep it aaaallll day! oh happy day!
