6342 Tasting Notes
Another from missB honestly, so very generous and i’m really looking forward to sharing these teas with the tea gals (and guys!). Super exciting to get packages in the mail from her travels and a great tea journey for trying new things. Makes me even more excited for someday getting out there with my other half…once my cupboard is mostly empty and in need of restocks lol I half expected this tea to be similar to David’s TEas apple custard thing..but this one doesn’t have that weird after taste and the apple is much more baked goods like lol thanks for the share again MissB!
another from missB and though it’s a green, i figured why not! seriously though…SO good. I really love this tea…there’s an almost fruity? smell to the bag but once brewed, it’s a lovely gingerbread tea… and honestly, if our bagged tea in canada were more like these…i’d be all over them more often.. :)
woot! tea from MissB i wasn’t quite sure what to expect with this one being as it’s a green tea…but this is great. It really is a deliciously yummy caramel tea – i don’t get much of the green tea base, other than the fact that it’s lighter than a black caramel tea in terms of the depth? of the tea…but i’m ok with that. These are great bagged teas and give me much hope for the toffee bags that were also in the care package missb sent over! :)
last tea of the evening and i have to say that i bought this one in part because it was a large amount for a reasonable price (even as a sample size) but also because i was curious as to what the flowers would taste like. Mostly i just wanted to try an interesting, different experience. Sadly i was very distracted when i had this, and all i can really say is that it’s more like a white/green sort of tea but i DID drink it all up, relatively quickly heh more to come when i try it again!
Final Count: 72 YES! mwahahaha sipdown count for 2014 achieved… not that i’ll be making it to my next goal unless i decide to do 5 teas over 2 month periods…since i’m going to keep pushing for 50 teas heh
