Another dark flavored oolong. Not my favorite style.

Much blacker tasting than I like in an oolong. I will try it as an ice tea when the weather warms up enough for drinking cold beverages.

Lovely. Very flavorful green tea. Enjoyed drinking it very much.

I like this tea, I’m not always excited by what passes for yellow tea but this one makes a very lovely drink. I brew it twice once for 90 seconds and then for 3 minutes both at 175 degrees F. Somewhat dark straw color. Some fresh green fragrance. Maybe a little sweet potato on the nose and tongue with a little astringency. Lovely.

This tea has a very smoky flavor that lasts through many steepings.

I can’t believe they recommend brewing this for 5-7 minutes. A mild pale yellow green liquid that smells of lightly roasted tea leaves. It has it’s own flavor, definitely not Chinese Green. I’ll have to work on describing it.

Second steep. Vegetal fragrance, same scent as a Sauvignon blanc, ie: cat pee, not bad though. Hay.

Lovely vegetal flavor.
