12 Tasting Notes
This is a delicious herbal infusion of lemon and ginger. It’s not too tart from the lemon, nor is it too spicy from the ginger. The balance of both form the perfect flavor combination. This is a light enough tea to enjoy any time of the day.
The ingredient list includes whole forms of: ginger, lemongrass, lemon peel, and licorice root.
Although I typically prefer loose-leaf, If you’re looking for a well balanced, flavorful herbal blend though, and enjoy the convince of tea pyramids/temples, then I’d really recommend, “Lemon and Ginger” from TeaPigs. Also, I had a very good experience with both shipping and the company in general, so I find them to be an excellent company! Some, not all of their teas are also available in Fresh Market, if you have one near you.
Flavors: Ginger, Lemon, Lemongrass, Licorice
This is such a pleasant, light tea. I find this one quite delicate and floral, while still retaining a hint of green notes and light mint to it. I love the uniqueness of this tea and find myself enjoying it most often in the afternoons, or while I’m doing my makeup in the mornings. It’s such a pleasant tea, I really recommend this one!
I hate to give this tea such a terrible rating, but to date, this is simply the most horrid tea I’ve ever had. I absolutely love both green and mint teas in general, so when my friend gave me this blend for Christmas, I was thrilled to try it. Despite multiple attempts at brewing it, it was just horrid. It tasted like burnt, bitter grass. It was so unpalatable that I wound up throwing it away after letting several friends try it to see if they may like it more than I did. They all hated it too, so out it went. I can not recommend this blend to anyone.
What a lovely tea! I purchased this in a Tagalog tin and took this on a trip with me to use in the hotel room. This was such a comforting, rich blend. It was just the pick-me-up I needed with its rich, vanilla flavor and warm citrus undertones. I will definitely repurchase this in loose leaf if it’s available the next time I place an order. I would recommend this one if you like a sweeter black tea blend.
This tea was such a disappointment. I generally like a lot of the Harney & Sons blends I’ve tried, but this one was just too weak for my liking. When I steep it, I normally have to steep two bags to derive any sort of flavor from it. It’s also quite lacking in the spice department as well, so at best you get a a faint hint of pumpkin and maybe a hint of spice if you’re are lucky. I don’t like to doctor my teas, but I typically add a bit of raw organic honey, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, and nutmeg to this and turn it into more of a latte to make it more palatable. I think for the price, there are better pumpkin spice blends on the market.
One of my very favorites! I tried this tea in a sample bag of loose-leaf, and as soon as I finished that bag, I immediately bought a tin. This is just an all around excellent tea! I love that it is never too bitter or smokey. It had just the right hints of citrus and black tea to enliven you, and a hint of a caramel undertone for the perfect hint of sweetness. I drink this tea straight, and can easily go through multiple cups a day of this! Highly recommend! If you have the chance to try it in loose-leaf form, go with that.
A fellow tea love hot me hooked on this tea, and nearly three years later, it’s still a staple in my tea cabinet! It is like a liquid hug in a mug! This one warms you up and is so rich and decadent. The cinnamon in it is just perfect, without being overpowering. I don’t add anything to this tea when I drink it because it’s perfect on its own! I also love the cinnamon in it for the added health benefits as well. I especially enjoy this tea after meals.
I love this fruit blend! I’ve already polished off an entire box of it and can’t wait to place another order. It is sweet, yet not cloying. The fruits used all meld together in a terrific burst of flavor. This is one I can enjoy throughout the day and the evening as well. This is my second favorite fruity tea blend. The only one I’ve tried that outranked this would be the fruit blend from Storm Tea, which I found once in a Homegoods, and haven’t been able to find locally since then. If you’re in the market for a nice fruity tea and just want to try something different, I highly recommend this blend. (Trust me, you’ll want the larger box!).
This is my favorite English Breakfast Tea! It is bold, yet never bitter. It is excellent on its own, or paired with milk and raw sugar. This is my go-to morning blend. The combinations of the leaves used it this tea give it a rich, strong flavor and maybe even a hint of sweetness too. Definitely give this blend a try!
My only complaint is that this isn’t available in loose-leaf form. I wish Tea Pigs would offer loose leaf for those of us who prefer not to use the sachets.
