I think that at some point I need to make this super concentrated and add it to a smoothie. It would probably work pretty well! Or if you could make super muddled strawberries this could be a nice iced mixed drink of awesome. Overall I was not impressed by this one. I think that the mark for the price was a bit high for 2oz ($7.80) making it the 2nd highest priced mate from the store. This is mostly because the mate teas just don’t resteep well. I don’t like them telling me “oh! you can resteep all of our teas!” to justify the price mark, but in reality not having a decent 2nd cup.
This has strong fruit notes with banana and coconut being the main players. The background of this is almost exactly like the raspberry riot; tart and lemony. I would only suggest this to people who strongly prefer mate teas or are just really craving banana. I don’t really get mango notes despite the addition of dried mango and I am completely lost on what the bamboo is supposed to taste like.
