Caramel from Adagio Teas
80

I think I found the perfect spot on this one today. First, I used about 1 and 1/2 tsp for ~10oz of water. Secondly, I used water that was just barely starting to get bubbles rising to the top of the water; so under a full boil. Lastly, only steep for 3 min. Anything over that and it gets super bitter. This creates a really deeply mahogany colored brew than tastes really amazing! It takes a lot of hit and miss to get this tea just right, but it is great for the price if you’re willing to work with it every now and again.
