86 Tasting Notes
Won this in AmazonV’s Art contest. These are the tightest jasmine tea pearls that I’ve ever used. We always like to watch the tea uncurl but with these it was definitely slow motion. It made a great ice tea. I wanted to drink this warm but just couldn’t with our very hot weather. I took about 3 sips and reached for the ice.
Picked this up last weekend and my family has already gone through several pitcher’s of it iced. This has a very strong peach flavor and the smell is great.
Found this is the cupboard at the office so I tried to rush a cup to fix ice tea. I got it rather weak the first go round but the second cup turned out much better. I still would prefer more black tea flavor or more cinnamon flavor. This flavors just meet and mellow. Maybe I would like it better if I sweetened it.
Picked this up at a European market because I thought this would complement several Caribbean dishes I’m planning to prepare. I did a taste test this morning. While I didn’t find a strong punch of rum flavor as I was hoping, it is a nice cup of tea.
The description reads tangy and they aren’t kidding. Even though I found it tart, I enjoyed it once it was sweetened and chilled.
Fixed this over the holiday. I was looking for a fruity Kool-Aid replacement. Tasted great. While the clear dark amber color was very pretty, I actually grabbed it thinking that it would produce a red color. Goofed up there. Next time I better do a practice run since I obviously was thinking of another tea.
Nice to have good cold ice tea for this traditional holiday weekend.
This was not enchanting to me. They need to rename this tea because with a name that starts out with chocolate and caramel, I expect to taste that. To tell the truth I didn’t even think that it tasted like tea – just spices. Looks like I should have read the other reviews before I purchased this one.
Once again I find myself using Steepster as an excuse to try another tea. What can I say, I was thirsty and this tea was on sale – not to mention the discussion board question about pear tea. I just had to try it.
I usually find the bottled sweetened tea too sweet but this read “Just a tad sweet” so I was hoping this was better. It was great: slightly sweet and refreshing. I do wish that I could have stuck to their recommended serving of half the bottle but I downed it pretty quick. Although it didn’t affect the taste but it was cloudier than I prefer.
What a treat! A friend greeted me at her door with this served iced in a fancy Murano Italian Goblet. The presentation was so gorgeous I plan to copy for entertaining. She topped it off with some delicious white chocolate covered strawberries. As for the tea itself, I needed to sweeten it because my first sips were tart with a fruity aftertaste.
