4 Tasting Notes

Original Blend from Red Rose
Orange Bliss from Twinings

So I got this as a free sample in my package of Lady Grey so I thought I might as well try it out. Not knowing what to expect I steeped it for about 3 mins which turned about to be fine. When it was done steeping it smelled quite a bit like orange flavoured children’s Sudafed. It tasted like the smell (do you know what I’m talking about?)but with black tea as well. It was an okay I guess, I just prefer my teas to be delicate instead of a power punch so you can enjoy the subtleties a bit more. Summary: Not bad, wouldn’t want to own it though.

Dragon Pearl Jasmine from Harney & Sons

I LOVE THIS TEA. It is by far my favorite jasmine tea. I bought it in the loose leaf form (without the bag but still in bullets) and I find that if you plunk about 5 bullets in a single cup you get the perfect amount of flavor. This jasmine is a lot sweeter than the others I have tried. I really like that because I find that usually when I drink a cup of jasmine, my taste buds get kinda bland by the time I’m two thirds of the way through the cup, but that little extra sweetness prevents that from happening. All in all I’ll always be happy with this tea

Siberian Rose from Vital Tea Leaf

I first drank this today at my tea club. Firstly, I was blown away by how it was ACTUAL rose bud that you brewed. I wasn’t actually around for the brewing, but it had steeped quite awhile before I drank it, and I think that helped. The flavor was very light and delicate, so having it steep a long helped make it more prominent. It did taste like roses, obviously. I would like to own this tea, however I don’t know how often I would drink it. It’s more of a tea for an occasion than just a everyday tea. I think it would get bland after awhile. Still, I found it to be amazingly tasty!

I’ve always loved tea. It’s always been such a treat to cozy up with a warm cup. Proud co-organizer of the Tea Club at my high school, I’m always looking for new tasty steeps. I’m known for always having a jar of tea on me during every break and lunch. I constantly have a least four different teas stockpiled in my locker, which I freely offer to all that are interested. Nice to meet you!
