I enjoyed two steepings of this with my first attempt at pumpkin scones. They turned out a little odd…kinda wet inside even though the knife came out clean (must of picked the wrong spots) and I baked them for as long as other scones. I think the pumpkin made the dough wetter. I didn’t even use as much buttermilk this time. Despite this, they were YUMMY! Just not the same consistency as usual. Wetter, like pumpkin pie. I’m not gonna complain though! This deliciously vanilla tea went extremely well with them.
