This morning I wanted Shou, and I didn’t want to have to figure out the right amount of leaf, so this one won out. ;) I love the convenience of these little discs. I really want to pick up some mini tuocha…planning an order for after our trip (don’t tell my hubby!) I think I might like Shou more than Sheng just because it’s so dark and comforting, which is what I want first thing in the morning. I like Sheng later in the day, but the caffeine seems to hit me harder!
It’s finally beginning to feel like fall and it’s already the end of October! It rained last night and early this morning and it was cool enough to wear boots yesterday!
So, this Shou is so unique…nutty and roasty like a roasted oolong, yet earthy and lasts for a crapload of steeps. Perfect to enjoy on a slow Saturday morning before I have to get ready for our trip. I just had to get in a puerh session before we leave because I’m sure I won’t be enjoying any good tea while were gone!
